Did your contract state that you would receive a high-resolution CD or just a CD?

Ugh hoh. Definitely sounds like you got a low-res DVD. I realize everyone has their own way of conducting business, but I really hate photographers who aren’t up front about when they are providing a LOW-RES DVD versus a HIGH-RES one. That’s like deliberate deception to me, and now you’ll have to buy all your prints/albums through the photographer when you thought you were getting them all on the disc where you could make your own prints. So sorry this happened. Keep us posted please.

Yes, you need to check the resolution of the photos. If the photo size is in “kb” then those are low resolution photos. High resolution photos should be at least 2 MB each

The resolution is definately the problem. My photographer gave my a low resolution CD as a proof CD. Our selected photos were put on another CD as high resolution. My high resolution photos are all between 2 and 5 MB.
