(Closed) trouble sleeping, anyone?

Me too!!  I now have a job working 11pm-7am…..I hate the sound of an alarm clock in the AM!!!

Do you like to read?  Perhaps start reading a 1/2 hour before bed to make you sleepy?  I’ve also read that attempting to get ready for bed 1 hour before you want to – start by turning off the lights, put the tv on low (if you have one in the bedroom), take a shower….eventually overtime its supposed to trigger your body to get sleepy when you start you pre-bedtime rituals. 

 They say to also start off slowly….if you normally go to bed at Midnight…the next night aim for 11:45….then 11:30…and so on…

take a sleeping pill for a few nights before the big day….nothing major, but at least then you can get a few days of really good rest. Plus, if you try it out prior to the night before, you can make sure you dont have icky side effects.

When I am at home I am usually in bed by 10.  I have found that on days that I don’t work out then I have a harder time sleeping.  Of course when I travel for work I have a hard time sleeping.  I watch tv or mess around on the internet when I should be sleeping.

Yes, I am still up. Ever since I stayed up late typing a paper a few weeks ago, my sleep pattern has been off.

Especially this week, I’ve been having a rotten time sleeping between the new puppy and the rotten weather we’ve been having.
