Is anyone having trouble sleeping? Ever since we set our wedding date my sleep schedule has been thrown off and now that I’m a little under 10 months away from my date its getting worst. Last night, I would call the sleep I got a series of naps. Not that I wasn’t exhausted when I went to bed, I just can’t seem to stay asleep. Then when I wake up in the middle of the night, I’m flooded with thought of things that I have to do or really minor details that in reality I shouldn’t be concerned with. For example, the other night I woke up at 3am, mind racing about how and when my grandmother (who lives an hour away and doesn’t drive on highways) was going to come down to my parents house for the wedding. I literally had to tell myself, do not worry about it, someone will make those arrangements, she will be here, go back to sleep. And then after calming myself back down I was able to fall asleep.
I only drink one cup of coffee in the morning a day, and I’m staying away from anything caffeinated or sugary. I don’t exercise after 8pm. I use applications on my ITouch with White Noise or Ambient Sounds which help me relax and get to sleep. I’m having a hard time staying asleep. It’s really starting to affect my moods, stress levels, and energy levels and I have so much running around to do startin this week.
Does anybody have any advice or suggestions?
