Werepanthers? WerePANTHERS for F*cks sake?? Who’s ever heard of werePANTHERS? Every other supernatural creature on that show has some basis in legend and stories, what mushroom den did this idea come from? Apparently that’s the authors fault though, and not the screenwriters, but still. Sheesh.
The sheepish smile on Eric’s face after Sookie gave him what-for for draining her fairy godmother. Priceless.

I’m really unimpressed with this season so far. There are way too many different story lines that just suck. Oh, and Bill screwing his granddaughter just skeeved me the hell out.

This season is just making me want to go back and reread the books even more, they were so much better. I’m actually watching fever right now… in my wedding dress, no less (my shoes just came in, I couldn’t resist) and it’s pretty meh.

@MissBoPeep: I read somewhere that Portia is going to try to convince Bill that they should continue their sexual relationship! Yikes!

I haven’t read the books, but have them on my Nook and intend to – but I have to say, I like the old Eric better… I’ve been told that if I read the books I’d love this Eric too (but he seems so pathetic!). I love Pam though, haha she kills me. And every time Tommy’s on the screen, I want to punch him. I just don’t like him or that whole storyline.

@Evie19: Oh I hope not. I don’t think I could watch the show anymore if there’s more steamy incest scenes.

@7SEVENJ9: I love the books, I have all of them so far on my nook!

This season was my favorite book. I gotta say, I like the show more than the books… Sookie’s relentless first person narration was annoying, and I like getting to see the story from different character perspectives. I also like that they don’t stick closely to the storylines from the books; it’s different enough that it’s still a surprise to see where it goes.
I think the fairy thing is a bit overdone, and I’d like Tara more as a lesbian, and I’d find it more believable, if I didn’t have a sneaking suspicion that being kidnapped and raped by Franklin is supposed to have turned her gay somehow.
And of course, it is my patriotic duty to watch Alexander Skarsgård slink around barely clothed.

I think it lost some of the magic after the 2nd season! I thought the third season really sucked and so far I’m enjoying the 4th far more than the third. But I do think some of that magic just isn’t coming back! I’m intrigued by the Eric/spell storyline…I really need to read those books.

I never thought the show was that great but it’s fun to watch. Im waiting for this season to be over so I can watch the episodes back to back.

I only second what everyone else said…could do with less the werepanther incest rape scenes…but keep the shirtless Eric and Alcide scenes!:)
In the first couple seasons, I was all Bill + Sookie=4 EVA and would get irritated when they would get torn apart/split up, now when Bill comes on the screen I’m irritated at him and want him to go away so Sookie can PLEASE hook up with Eric or Alcide so I can live vicariously through that. Haha.
