With 15 days to go until our wedding, my Maid/Matron of Honor has pulled out of arranging a candy buffet for us. Okay, no big deal, I understand that $ is tight these days (although, I have already bought scoops, and Chinese take-out boxes, etc.. ugh), so we’re left with no favours for our guests. Hmm.
Fiance is a chef, so he’s decided that he’d like to make chocolate truffles. We’ve done them for many Christmas get-togethers over the years, so I know we can do it, but I’d like to make a little tag, or sticker to put on the boxes.. does anyone have any ideas?
I thought about “Enjoy some sweet treats, compliments of Mr.&Mrs.”, but maybe something more cutesy might be better? I like the idea of “Life is short, eat dessert first”, too, though..
My brain is fried. Help, please!

I like the first saying. I really don’t like the “Life is short one” at a wedding. That would bum me out or feel like a slap in the face or something.

“love is sweet” seems to be a good standby for these types of things.

Love is like chocolate. Life is so much sweeter when it’s shared!
Something delicious from the new Mr. and Mrs.
You helped to make our day complete,
Now please enjoy this little treat.
Not simply a thank-you,
or a tasty treat.
But a symbol of love,
infinite and sweet.
A spoonful of sugar
and two sweet kisses:
Now Kelly and Dave
are Mr. and Mrs.
Love is delicious.
Your presence was sweet.
Here’s wishing you sweet memories of the day you shared with us.
Love melted our hearts.
How sweet it is that you could celebrate our special day with us.
Love is Sweet, enjoy your chocolately treat

@Mrs Christopher: It was actually supposed to be, “Life is UNPREDICTABLE, eat dessert first!” My bad, lol. But in the other case, you’re right.. kind of a bummer.
@julies1949: Thanks for all those ideas.. I’ll run them past Fiance, and see if anything jumps out at him!
