Hello everyone! I’ve seen a lot of people mention using truffles as their wedding favors and I’ve decided to jump on the bandwagon since it’s proving to be less expensive than a candy buffet. I wanted to find out if anyone has had any good experiances with purchasing them online. I’m horrible in the kitchen so there is no way I could make these on my own. So, now the decision is whether or not I should locate a store in my town or find a great website. Online is preferable. Thanks for any advice!

I have the EASIEST truffle recipe in the world. You seriously cannot screw these up. I use no-name oreos rather than brand name 😉 You can keep them in the fridge for at least a week. So if you change your mind and want to attempt a DIY (or do a trial run for the heck of it because they’re so delicious):

Harry and David has huge containers of truffles – like 50/container for about $20.

I went with Purdy’s (not truffles, but they do have that option). They have a website but I went through a local store. They were great, had it all boxed and ready for me and even put down a layer to separate my nut-free boxes from my chocolates with nuts. The boxes and elastic ribbon was also pretty.

I got my truffles from a website/store called Truffle Truffle. They were great to work with and my truffles arrived in perfect condition.
