Depending on the fabric, it should be able to be let out about an inch on either side, but you’ll have to make sure with your seamstress! I wouldnt lose any weight as you have voiced your concerns. Try Spanx for shapewear! Good luck and Im sure it will fit perfectly when you are ready to walk down the eisle!!

You’d be surprised about how helpful shaving an inch or two can do for a wedding dress. I would recommend buying Jillian Michael’s DVDs.  They have one called Killer Buns and Thighs (it’s new) and I just got it. It’s a good workout.  She also has the 30 day shred and Ripped in 30 that are about 30-40 minute workouts that will help you loose an inch or two. My weight remained the same when I did these workouts but the inches around my body changed.

I’d say try the Ripped in 30 if you are looking to tone up for your wedding day all over (arms, legs, waist).  If you do it 6 days a week like you are supposed to you’ll see results.  Please note that you do need light weights for this exercise.

I am not a promoter for JM, her videos just REALLY work!

One of my contenders had fitted satin and kept no secrets.  The best shapewear solution that I found was spanx AND a corset.  I don’t think it did a whole inch, but it definitely improved the fit.

@fitnflirty23 – I agree wholeheartedly! I just did KB&T last night, and I actually did Ri30 last month and lost 5.2lbs doing it only 5 days a week – and 2.75″ off my waist!
