I’m not tall tall but I was roughly 5’8 with heels on and I wore a street size 10 when these were taken.

5’9 is a great height! I swear most dresses are made for 5’10 to 6′. You would look amazing even with comfy shoes!

Not quite a fit and flare, but close with the crinoline they recommend. I’m 5’10 and a street size 10. This was the size 10 (clipped, without shapewear), and i ordered the size 8 based on my measurements.

I am 5’9″ and a street size 10 and found that trumpets and fit and flares looked best on me! A lines and ball gowns were not very flattering. Here are some pics of dresses I tried on. Most were not fitted right but you get the idea. All are trumpet except for the first picture which is the dress I chose and it’s a slim fit And flare.  I think trumpets will be very flattering on you!

I’m going through a similar situation! I found a trumpet dress online, but I’m worried it may look silly or make me look too wide.  My dimensions are 36-28-49, I’ll just have to wait and see. Best of luck!
