ct2015 :  Look, at this point you’re grasping at anything that looks shiny to convince us that we’re looking at a silver spoon. You are to tell me that you are convinced that he is this poised man because we heard him READ a speech written by somebody who understands that his tone needs to be toned down? The real him is the off script guy, the scary one that uses “many many years” and “tens of thousands of dollars” and doesn’t have his facts straight. Let us remember the “Well I don’t know these are the numbers I was given” when talking about the electoral numbers… Or the “Nobody knew healthcare was so complicated” to which I would actually, funnily, answer the same thing I told you on page 12: just because YOU don’t know doesn’t mean there aren’t people whose job it is to know…

He’s just not good.

ct2015 :  If karma comes in all forms I’m guessing we don’t need to “unite” behind him as the President, given that he spent 7.5 years trying to prove that Obama was a secret-born Kenyan Muslim right? Given your belief in Karma, he doesn’t really deserve the unity, correct?

Also speaking of karma, is it ok to laugh at the Trump voters who are now worried about losing their healthcare coverage? Because…karma.

Sessions just recused himself from any investigations related to Trump’s campaign, which puts him one step closer to the door.

Note that he specifically said “investigations related to Trump’s campaign” which many are taking to mean as “nothing after election day” but I suppose they gotta start somewhere.

This administration is so full of cronyism, nepotism, corruption and scandals.

ladyjd :

For the past few years, I have been one of the lucky people whose healthcare bill has more than doubled because of the “Affordable Care Act” – I would rather people lose it that have to keep footing the bill. I will gladly wait to see what Trump and his team come out with.

ct2015 :  Whoooooooooooa there buddy, out of literal respect for my brain cells, I don’t entertain ANYTHING that comes from Breitbart news. The fact that you used something with “Fake News” in the title just kind of shot all credibility you could ever have with me. Do you have a response OTHER than posting the link to an extremely biased article? Am I supposed to take that as you wholeheartedly believe everything in this article?

EDIT: Ughhhhh despite my better judgement and respect for my brain cells, I read the article. I had to stop at the suggestion that this is a “hit job” by the Obama administration. At what point is this administration going to take accountability for their own actions? The fact remains he met with this Russian ambassador and did not disclose it during his confirmation hearing. A lie by omission is still a lie.

I’m very happy with Trump. He’s moved quickly to make the changes he promised. Kudos. I hope he keeps up the good work.

ct2015 :  Right but that didn’t answer the question, is it ok to laugh at people who voted for Trump and are now concerned about losing their healthcare, such as the coal miners? Also, because you believe in karma, wouldn’t you say the Trump hate is simply karma for him spending 7.5 years trying to prove that Obama was born in Kenya?

ct2015 :  “I would rather people with cancer die than inconvenience myself” is essentially what you said. Healthcare costs wouldve rised anyway without Obamacare. And breitbart is fake news (and racist AF too) good to know you use the words of Nazi’s as your source.

jannigirl :  explain what he did that is so positive to you. Not allowing green card holders to come into the US? Threatening to deport Muhammad Ali Jr. after being asked if he was Muslim (he was BORN in the US)? Detaining a 5 year old? Having a member of the military and innocent civilians die because of a careless mission? Would love to know.

MrsMeowton :  Don’t you just love the weird logic of some of these far-right “news sources”?

“The government is the most incompetent load of collective morons on the planet… that is totally capable of performing amazingly intricate and coordinated ‘hit jobs’ on candidates and policies I like because they’re super evil geniuses! FAKE NEWS!!!!!”

For anyone unfamiliar with Breitbart, your luck runs out— you’re no longer blissfully unaware of this train wreck of a propaganda machine. here is some info about why the site is not generally regarded as a trustworthy source of news:

https://www.quora.com/How-does-Breitbart-com-rate-as-a-news-source

Some of their most inflammatory headlines

 http://mediamatters.org/blog/2016/08/17/breitbart-news-worst-headlines/212467

Most inflammatory headlines published during Steve Bannon’s tenure there http://www.rollingstone.com/culture/pictures/10-most-despicable-stories-breitbart-published-under-bannon-w452226/white-people-pretend-to-be-black-because-thats-an-advantage-w452233

And a good summary on why it is so bad for us that people actually believe that drivel https://www.forbes.com/sites/ellenkilloran/2016/11/14/steve-bannon-and-breitbart-news-why-everyone-but-the-alt-right-fears-trumps-top-adviser-pick/#577f00e639c0

jannigirl :  what has he done that personally affects you positively?

Let me give you my version: I was a potential first time home buyer, keyword was because Trump scrapped the FHA rule and rates increased. I am also an Affordable Healthcare Act insurance holder and I pay high prices but I can now afford it because of pre existing conditions. Trump plans on scrapping that too. I have a well for my house and am concerned about the junk in the water because Trump scrapped/signed the reversal of the stream protection rule (seriously?! I mean seriously?). Oh and Trump scrapped a rule requiring Wall Street to act in the interest of retirees because quote they already do. Trump just signed/scrapped the rule requiring mentally ill individuals have background checks and I am now scared for who else around me has guns.

But by all means tell me how he’s helped you so far and please open your eyes to what he’s doing rhetoric aside.

Katie-Didnt :  Alex Jones of InfoWars (a site that is so loony that it almost makes Breitbart look normal) actually thinks juice boxes can turn ya gay.

im0502 :  Just a matter of time before someone brings up the upward trend on the stock market, but considering that 10% of the population owns 85% of the wealth there, I’m not really sure that this is a good sign for the rest of us. Corporations and the ultra wealthy are getting wealthier and while many of us have indeed seen our 401(k)’s tick up a bit, we are basically getting the crumbs, and will end up paying more for those crumbs than we expect (in the form of higher taxes and/or decreased government services).
