(Closed) Trunk Show/Preowned/No Tax

I would go with the trunk show. You will get the dress for almost the same price as the preowned and then have no issues. Even if you do have issues you can work with the salon and/or designer whereas preowned you have less options. I dont see enough of a discount for preowned and I wouldnt want to buy a 10 and then have to pay a bunch of $$ for alterations.

My personal experience with a sample gown and advice from a seamstress, “It’s not a good deal if you have to do many alterations.” I would not go with the first option by the time you clean it/steam it , have the length/waist/bust perfected, you might as well purchase new in your exact size. I would go to the trunk show see if you can find the dress 1. with a big mark down and 2. only one or two sizes to big . Lots and Lots of Luck!!!!
