So I talked to Annie at Truvelle who was so helpful. Unfortunately, they cannot adid Alexandra beading to the Nicolet ( I’m guessing because of the ruching). BUT she said I could add it to the Carolina and change the skirt. It h a similar structure to the Nicolet, the corset back of the Taylor (which I think will be better so I don’t need to worry as much about alterations) and will have the beading of the Alexandra and its long flowey skirt in off white- without the folds/ripples)
I am going to go back and try the Carolina on…. Fingers crossed!
here is the Carolina
And samples of other custom Carolinas
She said I could change the sequins to silver on the Nicolet so would go my grey bridesmaid dresses but I’m not as excited about that idea.
Random question… Is anyone having a really hard time not asking your Fiance opinion? Cuz it’s driving me nuts!

bri00012: nice! does the carolina have the boning that you liked? i’m not really a fan of corset backs, but i can understand the appeal from an alterations perspective. it sounds like it could be your dream dress! let us know how it goes once you try it on!
as for the Fiance thing – it might have bothered me if he weren’t so adamant from the get-go that he wanted to know NOTHING (he doesn’t even like me mentioning dresses around him AT ALL) – he didn’t even want to know about my sister’s dress when she got married – he loves the suprise of a bride, it’s his “thing”, so i never even entertained the idea of getting his opinion. but for anything else…yes, it would drive me nuts! it also helps that i had my mom, dad, aunt, unlce, and sister pick out my dress with me…and they all loved it.

I was looking at your other post a few days ago. I’m in love with this designer and am green with envy that you get to wear one. What if you got a gray sparkly belt to go with the dress? That way you tie in with your bridesmaids but could get the top you wanted. I don’t love that dress as much as some of the others, just my honest opinion.

I am a Truvelle bride too! Love all of her designs. I ended up getting the Michelle, but I was really torn between the Eden and Nicolette as well. She has a new gown that has a beautiful high low skirt draping in the front that is a twist on the Michelle without the lace bodice.
I love the Nicolette on you, it is so flattering in the chest area. I really love the structure of all her designs.
My FH wouldn’t help either, I tried to see if he would go for rose gold sequins for the Eden but I couldn’t get anything out of him.
Here are some of my Truvelle pics.
