We already have a boy (an oops baby) and we want a girl. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t disappointed when we found out it was a boy the first time, as I really wanted a girl, but it lasted all of, like, 30 seconds. I LOVE my boy. I’m really hoping for a girl this time around, I really want one of each, so we’re using the shettles method, and crossing our fingers. If we have another boy, I will probably be disapointed once again, but I’ll quickly get over it.

@Cory_loves_this_girl: +1 I was a bit obsessed with the gender thing for a while, but really there is 50/50 chance of getting either one. I also think that if having more sex closer to ovulation increases my chances of getting pregnant and also having a boy, I guess I’ll go with it because I really want to get pregnant (actually not now but in the near future).
I am actually curious to know how many bees that chart and got intercourse right around ovulation ended up having a boy.

DH is terrified of raising a girl so he only wants boys. I didn’t *think* I had a preference but I definitely felt some relief when I found out LO was a boy. Although, when I’m out shopping, I get kind of sad that I can’t buy tutus and head bands. =/
ETA: DH and I only did it once during my fertile window. I looked over at him and was like, “I think I’m having ovulaiton pain. Wanna do it?” And the rest, as they say, is history…
