i purchased my earrings and bracelet off of etsy without trying them on with my dress. i just kept putting the photos of them next to each other. i was especially worried since my dress was diamond whtie and the pearls were white, but it worked out perfectly (IMO) ๐Ÿ™‚

I bought my hoop slip and veil off amazon and both ended up being perfect with my dress. Then again I ordered my dress from DressilyMe without ever having so much as tried ANY dress on so you probably shouldn’t listen to me. Smile

I bought my jewelry without trying it on and so far, so good. My sash was an utter fail, which is dissapointing because I paid what felt like a good chunk of money for it… I’m in the same boat with a veil, because I have no idea what will look good and I’m worried about committing!

I’d check return policies and that kind of thing before ordering — I could have returned my sash, but I waited too long. ๐Ÿ™

I tried to buy accessories before my dress came in, and I actually ended up taking a couple necklaces back. The earrings were perfect, though, as well as the bracelet. I’m notoriously bad at matching things  until I see them together, though, so it might just be me!

Definitely have a photo handy when you’re looking at stuff, though!

I bought my garter and clutch from Etsy. I’ll most likely be buying my sash from Etsy too, unless I find one I like better at my bridal store. I just pull up photos of everything I’m wearing and compare. So far all of my purchases have worked out!

I got all my things from Etsy without trying them on with my dress…in fact I think the only time I will have everything on will be on my wedding day. I ended up just going with my gut and I think everything will tie in nicely together! Sashes may be hard though.

i did not try any of my accessories on with my dress before buying them!

i just visualized it in my head… they all turned out great and went wonderfully together!

I bought my jewelry in a department store without trying it on with my dress – I was perfectly happy with the way it turned out ๐Ÿ™‚
