I’m in the UK and they do not allow any photos here 🙁

I think it’s silly, for me personally, I want to see how I look in photos in the dress!

The boutique where I bought my dress had a “no photos” policy – every review I read on Yelp said it so I prepped my Maid/Matron of Honor to be as sneaky as possible. But my consultant had no issues with it! I didn’t even buy it that day, but maybe she could sense that I was serious about it because she suggested I take a picture! So I think it can depend on the consultant too.

I also did a little bit of dress shopping in Santee Alley/Fashion District and only one vendor allowed me to take a picture, out of 5 or so.

I’m in Southern California.

Only 1 of the shops I went to did not allow photos. They also didn’t let me pull my own dresses… they were a bit snobby.

elleodee1:  Try Raffinato Bridal in Leederville, smaller shop but great service and they stock David Tutera and  Sophia Tolli and this American brand called Bonny Bridal (which I ended up buying).
