Oh I was in flip flops and wore my hair up. Didn’t think about what I wore at all…except I wore a strapless bra! 🙂

Look normal.  Strapless bra.

If you like a dress this way, you’ll be over the moon on the big day. 🙂

@nickie362: I wore jeans and a T-shirt every time 😛 If you have that “feeling” and just know when you try on dress it won’t matter. I didn’t have that, I’m in the process of choosing between 3. If you narrow it down, you can put your hair up and try on veils with those (that’s what I’ll be doing when I go back to try on my final 3 choices). But for the first few times I went, I could tell what looked good on me and what didn’t without doing anything special.

@chittychittybanebane: & @Jeannine @ Small Chic: They didn’t provide you with a corset strapless bra?? I went to 4 different bridal shops and they all did that for me. I don’t know if I’ll actually buy one for my wedding day but it made my figure a lot better and since the back is lower than most strapless bras it made things easier.

I wore whatever was easy to get in and out of, my hair’s always down and I rarely wear makeup.  All I paid attention to was wearing a strapless bra and modest underwear.

You don’t want to wear too much makeup; keep in mind that you are going to be putting on really expensive dresses!  You wouldn’t want to get foundation or lipstick all over a sample and spoil it for someone else.

For most of my dress shopping, I was just in my everyday hair and no makeup. When I went to visit “the” dress for a second time before ordering, I did my hair nicer and wore a little bit of eye makeup, and wore a pearl necklace and nice earrings.

Do your hair/makeup enough to feel good but don’t over-do it. You don’t want to get makeup on the white dresses! It does help to get a better idea of how you look if you have a clean and put-together look. I know I don’t feel like I look good in anything when my hair is a rat’s nest and I have dark circles! Just do basics and you’ll be fine!
