No,I think that is a smart idea.  Not everyone will know that fact, I didn’t.  So to make a cutesy sign like that in my opinion is great.

I think it’s a good idea, since most of us coastal dwellers have no clue that elevation makes any difference!  I would even put the phone numbers to a couple cab companies on the website if you can.  And tell the bartender not to hesitate to cut people off.  If he/she knows he/she has the bride’s support, they’ll be more willing not to serve obviously drunk people.

I think it’s not only a great idea.  My little BIL met his gf’s family at a wedding at elevation and he made an ass of himself.  (They love him anyway.)

I think GREAT IDEA! I would NEVER consider that (although I live in IN so we don’t have elevation, period) but if I saw that sign I’d be like OH GOOD and take it easy. No one wants to get extra-drunk by accident.

I think ti’s a great idea! I never would have known that elevation can affect how quickly you get drunk! If I were a guest, I’d really appreciate the reminder.

I agree, a couple of cute-sey, funny signs at the wedding would be good. I don’t know if having the info on the website would be as helpful though….

Maybe a large-print but cute and in-theme sign on the bar?

I didn’t know that you could get extra drunk due to elevation. I think it is a great idea to put something on the wedding website, and the bar.

Great idea!  I’m also having a high-elevation reception and I didn’t consider this!  We are hoping to keep somewhat contained with drink tickets (with a cash bar for more) but this is a great idea also!

I also think it is a great idea.

You may also want to post a reminder sign where the alchohol is being served at the reception. It is something not many people will think about.
