It might look a bit weird since blush/purple is an unusual combo (I’d need to see them all together). However, your flowers and shoes might make it all work.

ETA: I voted that it works bc I would rather err on the side of unusual/different if it reflects the bride’s personal style. If a bride is prefers innovative looks over traditional, I say (for the most part) go for it!

I like it! You can also get regular veils in different colours. I had mine custom made and they sent me some colour swatches and there was blush, purple, silver, gold etc.

It does, a touch. Now I’m more inclined to vote against the purple veil since the purple might clash even more.

BUT I’m still hesitant to unequivocally vote against the veil because I haven’t actually seen your look altogether (and I don’t want to discourage you if there is a chance it looks phenomenal).

And I completely understand your concerns about the veil blending in with your fair hair/skin. What is the return policy on the veil? Can you order it to see what it looks like with the dress?

Honestly, I think the purple might look and photograph a little strange. Could you do a blush/oyster sort of hue tulle? I don’t think diamond white looks flattering on many people for a veil, but I’m sure you could do an off-white or ivory? Something more pinkish-hued.

@Glasgowbound:  Yes I see what you mean. Maybe you could go into a fabric/veil shop somewhere and try holding some swatches up to your face?
