It would help if you posted a picture. Maybe it isn’t as bad as you think it is?

I agree. A look at the picture is helpful! <br />The other thought is if you have time you could try to sell it and than buy a dress with the money you make back, or even try to trade. I am wondering if there are people out there who also dont like their dress and try to trade…..Just a thought!

Do you like everything else about the dress?

I don’t think a bolero will cover the front beading and I agree with you that its not the besT beading.

Guess I’m in the minority…..I like the beading! I don’t think it’s super flashy at all – just detailed. I like everything about your dress, and it looks great on you!

I think the beading isn’t too bad, but it might look better with one of those things to cover up. Go see previous posts about boleros and stuff. I’m sure it can be fixed!!

I think this dress is a showstopper. I hope you end up keeping it! I haven’t seen anything quite like it.

I don’t see sparkle.  I see classic pearls.  I think your dress is very pretty and looks very nice on you.  I personally wouldn’t change it.  I was expecting to see a bunch of rhinestones and sparkle, but I don’t.  It’s very classic looking.

This was my sisters dress! I loved it.  And I didn’t notice any sparkly boobs, it just stands out up close, your figure will be what stands out in that dress. Apparently even our uncle muttered ‘nice dress’ to our aunt as my sister walked down the aisle.

I agree with PPs — it looks great on you! And I don’t see sparkle boobs. The beading adds a nice bit of detail.

I’d go with a simple veil and then you’re good to go.

There is some subtle sparkle in the beading across the boobs but subtle is the word. I think it’s tasteful and not gaudy. If you were to unpick it the delicate fabric underneath would get damaged. If you cover it up with a bolero you risk ruining your look. Maybe if you look at the dress (instead of avaoiding it) you may learn to love it again.

A little bit of unsolicted feedback about the veil: it doesn’t seem to match the dress (looks too white)

Can you return to david’s bridal and get store credit for another dress?
