I am in love with this tear drop halo from Emmy London. I have tried it on and I have a voucher for 10% off that I got from an accessories evening for Emmy London at the boutique wheree I bought my dress.
I’m already waaaay over budget with my dress (over but not upset or stressed – I love my dress) is the fact that the expense isn’t putting me off a good sign? Or am I just going a bit nuts throwing money at this whole ‘bride’ thing?
What do other bees think of this accessory?

yeh nah, that there is a mega expensive headband…. it’s nice, but it’s a headband. pull yourself together woman haha.

It’s pretty but surely you can find something similar on etsy or something for a whole lot less. I couldn’t justify that much for a headband.

……What if I wear it every day….? That’s not mad, right? That would be perfectly normal….

if you are struggling to justify the cost, it doesn’t sound worth it to me.

I think Jennifer Behr’s hair pieces would be the ones to splurge on, if you were going to. This halo is pretty, but nothing “wow!” I did wear a pair of Emmy London shoes at my wedding and they were gorgeous.

Meh… not worth it in my opinion I don’t see why in the world it would cost this much other than brand name which is silly for a headband.
Try etsy they probably have 40 pages worth of similar headbands

Looks like you have some time before your wedding, sit on it some more. See if you can find anything. If months from now you STILL reeeeeeeeeaallly want it and just have to have it, then go for it if it’s affordable.

I think that is crazy money for a headband – but if you have the money and you love it then do whatever makes you happy.

I get it- It’s a lovely headband, but I’m sure you can find something similar elsewhere.
I do totally understand though- I went way over budget on earrings, but I was way under budget on my dress. Also, earrings are something that you will actually wear again. (they are pretty simple/don’t scream bridal). I just don’t think you can justify that much on a headband that you honestly won’t wear again.

claires has rhinestone headbands for $5 – $10 dollars.

Wow, you could buy all your accessories with that kind of money! I’ve also had to fight with myself to splurge a little for anything wedding related, but some things are just not worth the outrageous price tags. The headband is pretty, but you could find something equally as nice on Etsy or Amazon for 1/10 of the cost.

Ladies you are beautifully brutal, lol!
I know, it’s sooo expensive but I’m just obsessed with it. My plan is to stash a few ££ every month where i can spare it and re-evaluate closer to the wedding!
They do, but I’ve worn them before (mostly when I was younger) and always ended up with a blistering headache after about an hour.
Thank you, I will check them out 🙂
Best reply ever.
You are the devil on my shoulder 😀

That seems like a good plan -don’t get it yet but stash some cash and if you still LOVE LOVE LOVE it nearer the time get it!

Still love love love OR get a bit drunk with my credit card…. Either is good 😀
It probably wouldnt kill me to save… Make a salad every time I’m tempted to order a pizza etc.
I’m also religiously stalking places online JUST IN CASE anyone is selling one used.
