Of the dream designer!!!!!!!!!
And I don’t know how!!! Grrrr!!!!!!! I never dreamed of my wedding day or the perfect gown but I knew who I wanted to make it. Now that I started the process to give myself plenty of time, and get one thing checked off my list, I feel so conflicted, like I’m cheating on it. The selection in my area isn’t great and I’ve been putting off traveling to the nyc store but I think I may have to. I have been trying on other designers too and thought I’d have “that moment”. But I’m an idiot. I don’t feel that way about anything, ever. My top three dresses are 3 different designers, the 4th being what who I thought I wanted. But when I think about purchasing any of of the other ones it hurts.
Did anyone else have a similar experience? How should I approach this?
On the bright side, I have a few pairs of shoes lined up depending on the dress.

Um, are you me??? lol Especially with the shoes…
Honestly, if you don’t get what you want, you might really regret it down the road. Is it a budget issue?

No its not a budget issue, my mother is generously giving me $3,000 for a dress. It’s hard to figure out what exactly I want too. I have a silohuette in mind and thats about it. I think I have a nice figure so a lot of dresses look nice. I’m just starting to think I wont get that ah ha moment. I think we’ll be heading to the nyc store.

Who is your dream designer. I too had to fly to NYC due to a lack of dress shops. I did a bunch of research so if you are looking for something specific maybe I can help

Pronovias. I’m in Philadelphia and only 6 stores stocked them around (that includes their San Patrick and LaSposa line). But it was almost the same gowns over and over again. I even went to a few other stores trying to not be too picky but as nice as they are, I dont have that moment I thought Id have.
oh and techie, shoes are near and dear to me.

I’m not quite sure I understand the loyalty to a designer when you have other dresses that you prefer how they look on you. Sew in a label from your “top designer” into your top dress and play pretend

Haha if only it were that simple. I don’t understand my infatuation either. Maybe it be easier if I had a better selection. If only I had never went in that store in Barcelona…
