I am having a hard time selling my dress… It is stressful.

There are other websites you can sell it on ( tradesey, preowned, Craigslist ) it just might take a while.

Have you tried a local consignment shop?

I would personally take that offer.  I personally would never pay more than half of the retail price of the dress from a non-retail seller, no matter if it were new or used.  I think $500 is a good offer for your dress!  For reference, I paid $1000 for my dress and sold it for $500 and I felt like I got a good deal out of that sale.
