It took us 15 cycles to conceive and we’re just barely out of the gate (5 weeks today). Over the last year I’ve been so excited to see all of the “graduates” from the TTC 6 Month and Up thread, or the Infertility thread. Just wanting to see where everyone is at in their journey now. I admit it was hard to follow people after they graduated (while being in the thick of dealing with fertility issues) I’ll get rolling:
EDD: May 2013
How Far Along: 5 weeks
How long TTC: 15 cycles.
Your Journey to Pregnancy:Low progesterone/ hypothyroid and apparently I had a large cyst that burst the cycle before our BFP. We were agressive in trying to balance my thyroid and progesterone. I started acupuncture the cycle prior to my BFP which resulted in a burst cyst. My husband also had a 1% morphology last January. You read that right, 1%. He took fertile Aid for men for 3 months prior to our BFP and an herbal tincture that his naturopath prescribed where the main herb is protects the ends of DNA strands. I credit Creighton/NaPro technology, acupuncture and our naturopath’s with the right combination to get us pregnant.
Biggest Pregnancy Challenge: Keeping my progesterone levels up. My levels took a dip last week so my naturopath put me on oral progesterone in addition to my cream. Fingers crossed that the levels stay high.
Favorite thing about pregnancy: The feeling I get when I have forgotten I am pregnant and then I remember again- silly I know but its like seeing the second line appear on the test all over again.
Advice to a new graduate: I need advice 🙂 Hoping you guys can provide it.
