I’m new to this site and just wanted to say hi!
My husband and I got married last August and fell pregnant (not trying!) in October. Unfortunately, we lost our little boy at 19 weeks pregnant in February. It made us realise how much we want a baby, and how badly we want it right now. We miss our son so, so much but just want to get pregnant now.
This is our first proper cycle trying and as we’re new to actually trying, just wondered if you ladies had any tips?? We managed to get pregnant without trying so I’m hoping we can get pregnant again! I’m currently in my two week wait as think I ovulated 6 days ago.
Hope you’re all well? 🙂 looking forward to getting to know you!! Xx

So sorry to hear about the loss of your son. The book called “Taking Charge of Your Fertility” is basically the bible of TTC. Lots of people also use the Fertility Friend tracking app. Good luck!

Hello! Our stories are similar somewhat. My DH and I lost our baby boy at 22 weeks in September and we had conceived him our first month off of BCP. The first couple months after loss I just wanted to be pregnant again SO badly but was urged to wait at least 3 months (2 cycles after loss) before trying again to let myself emotionally and physically heal. I delivered him through induced labour vaginally.
We began trying in December and it took us 3 months to conceive our rainbow baby that I am currently 14w2d with! We did the SMEP the month we conceived and I used OPK’s as my cycles were a little odd after my loss varying in length by a few days. I won’t lie, it was so hard for me getting my period when trying after my loss. It was a crushing blow each month since it took no time the first time. Trust in the process, be kind to yourself and each other, and good luck!

I am so, so sorry. Our stories are very similar. In December we also lost our son at just under 19 weeks. I started cramping and bleeding at 18 weeks and after spending 6 days in the hospital I developed an infection and had to be induced. It is still very painful and I have good days and bad. My due date was May 12 and that was a tough one.
The good news is that you know you can get pregnant. Try using an app that tracks your cycle/symptoms. I like Ovia. Glow is good for seeing charts of your BBT. Some people use kits to track ovulation too. When you’re in the fertile time try not to put too much presure on each other. Try to have fun. Good luck. 🙂
