It’s been almost two months since my LOOP excision, and my Dr wants us to wait 6 months to try.  The nurses at the clinic keep saying though that she’s the ONLY Dr who asks for a 6 month wait, most request 3.  Because of that I’m a little torn.

If I hadn’t MC in March I’d be 32 weeks now, and I just remember feeling like I was in the home stretch with Dear Daughter at this point.  It’s really starting to hit me that when my Dear Daughter passes, I won’t even be pregnant yet again, and I’m struggling with that.

Darling Husband and I have talked, and are considering my going off birth control again after 3 months, so I’d be off birth control by the end of August, which would at least give me a tiny chance of being pregnant again in September, which I just think would be nice.  At the same time, I’m terrified of being pregnant again, knowing now how much the MC sucked.

Mrs2b2014 :  Hahaha. This is me! I’m just so curious to see what’s going to happen. I had my last beta yesterday and it was 6. Did my first opk today and there was a faint line. Since I know I can’t count on the opks, my plan is to try to BD a couple of times a week until AF arrives. Good luck!!

I hope it’s ok if I join you guys here again. I like this thread better than the general one. I feel like everyone is so much more understanding of the feelings I have about TTC. It’s been a while since I’ve been on the site, but we’re TTC again and I loved having the community support last time.

ROLL CALL

Your Age/Partner’s Age: 28/31

How long you have been together/married: Going on 8 years together, 3 married.

How long you have been TTC: 4 months of NTNP with one CP and first month actively TTC since DS was born.

Known Issues/MC/TTC History: No known issues. Struggled to have my first. Lost my first pregnancy after about 13 weeks. It took 7 more months after the loss, including minor surgery to remove residual tissue to be able to TCC again. Got pregnant with DS 4 months after that. Started NTNP a few months ago and first cycle had a CP.

Your TTC plans for the next few months: Just charting, OPKs, prenatals. I’m a little concerned that I’m not actually ovulating. Hopfully temping will reassure me on that. DS just turned a year old, but my cycles went back to normal (for me) about 8 months ago.

Just for fun: Do you have any fun summer plans? No real plans. Probably do some more camping cool

Hi all,

We are not TTC again yet, but I wanted to join this thread for support.  On Wednesday, I had my 12 week ultrasound and found out there was no heartbeat and baby stopped growing around 9 weeks.  I had a dating ultrasound around 7 weeks and saw a heartbeat so I thought I was in the clear.  I am devastated.  I had an appointment scheduled at the hospital today for a consult, and possible D&C today or early next week.  I ended up miscarrying naturally last night, which was a bit of a relief since I’m fearful of hospitals, needles and my body’s reactions to meds.  I don’t feel ready to go in for an ultrasound so I’m going to wait and see how my body reacts and hope everything is cleared out.

pinkfaerie :  so sorry for your loss, hugs!

I got a positive opk on cd 18, cd 19 and cd 20 but I think it was highest on cd18. We bd on cd 17 and 18. Took a pregnancy test on cd 21 and it was verrrrry light. I’m still going an opk every day in case it goes up again but my fingers are crossed we are lucky first month again. TBH I don’t know what I’ll do if we aren’t, my motivation for ttc is pretty low but it makes me sad that others are getting pregnant around me so I guess we’ll just keep going using opk’s. super frustrating but I do feel like I’ve turned a corner in my grief.

pinkfaerie :  I’m so sorry to hear this, it sounds similar to my loss timing wise.  I saw a heartbeat at 8w, and growth looked a teeny bit behind but reasonably so, then at 12+2 I found out that growth had stopped at 10+4.  I wound up having a D&C, and it took about 5 weeks for HCG to drop to zero and to have a period again.  Just thought I’d give you my experience in case you wanted to use it as a potential timeline.

Hope you’re holding up ok.

I’m normally just a lurker here but I have to post b/c this TWW SUCKS!  I had a mc in May (11 wks but stopped growing at 8wks) and a D&C right before Memorial day.  That was after 11 months trying but our timing wasn’t really the best most months. Since then I had one cycle that was close to normal timing (CD 34) but was definitely lighter.  I’m currently 9 or 10 dpo (I was tracking my CP and it started dropping Sunday and was firm/low on Monday, not temping though).

When I had my BFP I was implantation bleeding at around 11 dpo.  This morning I had something very similar, not at all like when I’m getting AF (which is due tomorrow).  AF is normally light brown and thing a day or two before, this was thin and bright pink.  My cycle is normally very regular.  My only symptoms when I had the BFP in March was crazy dream and I’ve had some odd ones the last week.

I’m probably over analyzing, just needed to vent a little.  Trying to hold off testing for a few days, especially if that was implantation bleeding.  TTC is so stressful!

james79 :  I am in a very similar situation as I had a D&C on May 24 and then my period returned 35 days later. I normally have 28-day cycles so my period would have been due tomorrow, but I know that I ovulated on CD19 because I used OPKs and temping, so I know for sure that I’m at 9dpo today. I took a test this morning (internet cheapie) and it was negative, but I know it’s early, so I still have some hope. I had cramping on and off from 5dpo through 7dpo and my stomach has felt very bloated and just kind of strange for the past couple of days and I’ve also had backaches, which I never get. I hope you had implantation bleeding!! I haven’t seen any spotting of any kind. Keep me posted! I hope we both get our BFPs in the next few days.

apostrophecatastrophe :  Thanks, fingers cross for you as well!  It is so hard to not symptom spot, last time I was in a really good mood (almost gitty) with lots of energy in the first few weeks.  I’m feeling similar now, this whole process is the worst yell

james79 :  Fingers crossed for you!  But yes, the TWW is the absolute worst.  I think it was even worse once I’d been pregnant once, cause I knew what I’d experienced then, and just kept imagining things were just the same.
