Turtle83 :  Oh wow you did have endometritis? Does the doc believe that you got it from a loss or maybe it caused any of the losses? I’m not sure when you got the hysterscopy vs when you conceived your son. I’m scared of the biopsy but the doctor said I should get one to be sure. And he said the same about a follow up biopsy. What part hurt? Catheter or the actual tissue sample grab? Ouch

mrsfitz25 :  Any more updates my dear? Could a different doctor at the practice you go to give you your results?

FreckledFox :  Ouch! I really hope you don’t end up needing to get the biopsy.

FreckledFox : My doctor said there was no way to know if it was the cause of my losses or if it was caused by one of the losses or the D&C. I was looking at my FF charts and I still had 2 more chemical pregnancies after the antibiotic treatment. I got a hysteroscopy after I had a D&C to make sure everything was cleared out, this is the timeline:

– October: D&C after miscarriage (8 weeks)

-November: TTA due to Hysteroscopy

– December: TTA due to antibiotics

– January: biopsy and chemical pregnancy #5

– February: BFN

– March: chemical pregnancy #6

– April: BFN

– May: I conceived my son

It’s nice to have all that data in FF. I don’t remember exactly which part hurts it’s a very short procedure, I remember being told that it was gonna hurt and it did for a little while and then it was over very fast. Good luck with the biopsy!

MrsMellyBean :  Thanks for asking, I harassed my OBs office and the nurse gave me the #s today, although she didn’t give me the full forms so I don’t know my progesterone levels. Wednesday 11/2 @7pm was 72 aND Friday 11/4 @5pm was 183 so doubling but it looked to me like the pace was slowing. 11/4 was 14dpo or 4w exactly so does that seem like an ok #? they’ve set me up for an early confirmation ultrasound on 11/23 so well know more before thanksgiving I guess, at this point not planning on telling family till xmas which would be 11w2d (so early but pretty far into it) Until then more peeing on sticks. I never went above 60 on the chemicals so something is different this time, just hope it’s different enough

Turtle83 :  Whatever combo of things you did (i know it was a lot of stuff), i’m so glad that that baby stuck (and this new one too hehe).  🙂 I’m not sure if i hope for endo and treat and then i’m good, or if i want it to be clear… then what do we do?

AFM, BFN at 10dpo. Not feeling this cycle. I’m gonna call the Dr on cd1 for baseline, then start clomid and monitoring, and then biopsy around cd21. Sigh!

mrsfitz25 :  I’ve read that doubling times slow down as betas go up so that’s nothing to worry about. That seems like a great number for 4 weeks :). Hopefully time will fly by so you can see your sweet little bean snuggled up tight. I’ll be thinking of you.

FreckledFox :  I’m thinking of you. I really really hope the clomid does the trick.

MrsMellyBean :  How’s the clomid going? Have you had many side effects?

AFM, I’m on CD5. Actually felt OK when it started this month because I have a lot of other exciting stuff going on at the moment. We’re moving to our forever home soon and I’ve just had a promotion at work which means I didn’t have to take the job with the 6 month probation period. Strangely, my RE tested my progesterone this month and I was hoping it would be low as usual so he might change his mind and give me clomid early. Well, it was the best it’s ever been by a long way. Hoping my miscarriage may have reset things and I’m on the path to everything being normal.

Soton85 :  The clomid is going well I think! I haven’t had too many side effects, some hot flashes and a little more emotional than usual, but nothing that I can’t handle, thanks for asking! That’s so exciting that you’re moving to your forever home AND got a promotion at work. That’s wonderful. It’s also great that your progesterone was nice and high. I too hope that the miscarriage reset your system and you’re now on your way to a BFP.

Well ladies! My first cycle is complete (and it was horrible) and I’ve had my 6 week check up where I was given the go ahead to start trying again if we are ready… So we will see what happens this month! CD7 so it’s just early stages! I’m just so excited to be somewhat normal again!

Cassidylouise :  I’m sorry your first cycle was horrible, but I’m glad that it’s over and done with. That’s great that you got the official all clear from the doctors, now it’s just up to you guys to decide if you’re ready. Hugs.

Joining this group sadly, but I know there’s no better support than the Bee. I had a miscarriage on Sunday evening at 15w and am still feeling shattered and broken and saw things I never want to see again. Luckily I was at the hospital (just in the nick of time – I had just walked into the ER and felt what I now assume was my water break, went to the washroom, and the rest…..you can fill in the details) and am so grateful for the nurses there and that I wasn’t at home to deal with the cleanup and aftermath.

I have a follow up appointment with my family doctor tomorrow and am really hoping we get some answers from the pathology report in the coming weeks. It was my first pregnancy and had been super easy, we saw the baby on two different ultrasounds and there was no reason to think anything was wrong.

(trigger warning) My husband has been my rock but as the hours go by I find myself getting more and more raw. We terminated a pregnancy about 6 years ago a few months after our wedding, most people in our lives don’t know about it. I was young and not ready to be a mom and it was the right decision at the time and we made it together. I spent the next 5 years beating myself up and feeling like I didn’t deserve to have kids, but worked through it with therapy. I was reserved about this pregnancy from the beginning because I knew how high miscarriage rates were, but we were really excited to be out of the “danger zone” and planning our nursery and telling the world, and I felt like the universe was finally letting me take a breather.

Needless to say, I feel like I somehow deserve this and the world is giving me a giant F U. I just want my baby back.

Im going to go back and read the thread from the beginning now, but really looking forward to having a place I can draw from for support, especially when we are cleared to TTC again. But I literally can’t imagine experiencing that again and surviving it emotionally so I don’t even know if I’ll ever get there…..I hope I will. I’m so ready to be a mom now.

pinkisthenewblue :  Im so sorry 🙁 do they believe it was from incompetent cervix? It sounds that way from your story. You did nothing wrong, in the past or ever. I hope that you can heal and find support here. I am so sorry for your loss. 🙁 I’m realizing that there is no safe zone. we lost our son at 29w. Hugs xoxo

FreckledFox :  I just read about incompetent cervix last night when I was googling reasons for preterm labour – neither of which I knew were a “thing” until after my loss. It sounds to me like this could be the reason exactly, and I’m hoping I can get in to talk to my OB so that if that’s it, I am monitored from the start for the next one. I don’t know how I’ll ever forgive myself if I lost a perfectly healthy pregnancy from something I did in the past, though… I am wishing so bad I could go back to Friday and go into the ER when the cramps started, if they could have saved him that early.

29w….I can’t even imagine. My heart goes out to you.
