@mrswannabemomma:  Just checking in for now and sending hugs. TTC after a loss is mind game on a whole new level, and I defnitely feel for you bee! I followed you on the POAS boards when you hosted earlier this year, and hate that you’re in this spot now.

As for me, waiting to roll call here until things play out a bit more with the OB and transferring to an RE next month. This will be month 11 TTC in total, but 8 after our loss in January, so I’m hoping i’m just on the unlucky side of things.

@mrswannabemomma:  Absolutely a mind F. I naively thought getting to a BFP was all i needed to have a baby, so it’s definitely not as exciting anymore.

I’m in a weird in between case. My OB is concerned about uterine scarring since I had a D&C. My body didn’t miscarry “naturally” and even after my D&C, it took almost 2 months for my HCG levels to drop back to zero. So we know I can get pregnant, but for some reason, can’t seem to do it a second time, making this secondary infertility. Since the D&C, it’s been normal, but not normal for me cycles. AF shows up every month, but it’s not the same as when we first started TTC, and my cycles have gotten a lot shorter over time, from 30-32 days to now 25ish. All of that could just be hormones being out of whack, but the OB was concerned enough to order some bloodwork and get a hysteroscopy scheduled. The wait times for the RE near me can be lengthy, so I got a referral to get things started just in case the next couple months are still unsuccessful. Luckily, they had an opening in early Nov, so at least we can start talking about a plan. And yes, usually the referral to an RE doesn’t come until multiple losses, so I’m glad the OB didn’t make me wait.

TTC shouldn’t be this hard. It feels like everyone else is making baby announcements, and I’m over here tracking and temping and making notes of every bodily twinge for months on end and not getting anywhere.

@mrswannabemomma:  I remember my first two cycles after my loss were a little off too. I wasn’t using OPKs, but was still temping, and saw a temp shift 5-7 days later than usual. Have you tested HCG levels to make sure they dropped back down fully? That took a while for me as well and definitely messed with ovulation at first.

@mrswannabemomma:  That’s good news about HCG levels! *hugs* I know the waiting part completely sucks. Keep using those OPKs – I’m keeping my fingers crossed that you’ll get a blazing positive soon!

@mrswannabemomma:  Just checking in on you!

I think I’m rolling over into TTC cycle 12 this week. I tested early since my temps are still high, but BFN at 11dpo. Not super hopeful, but counting down to CD3 testing and starting up the RE workup in the next week or so now.
