I am 23, Darling Husband is 23, and this is my 2nd month off of BCPs, first TTC.  I have been kind of on/off different kinds of BC for YEARS, so I am a little worried my cycles aren’t going to be regular.  My first was 27 days, but I O’d on CD17 and only had a 10 day LP with spotting on 10 dpo…I am now a little worried that I may not have enough progesterone yet for a good enough LP.  We’ll see what this cycle holds, but so far I am on CD12 and still not much fertile CM…by CD12 last cycle I had EWCM 🙁 Definitely getting nervous that my cycles are going to be wonky!

BUT, there are so many people who get pregnant right off of stopping BCPs.  Everyone is different and like a doctor told me one time, “in the world of women and menstrual cycles, abnormal is basically normal.”  Ugh..so true! So if you are worried about weird cycles, you are definitely justified, but you are young enough that you should have time to get your cycles regulated before fertility becomes compromised due to age, I guess.

Although when you want to be pregnant RIGHT NOW it is no fun waiting, no matter how young/old you are!

29, started TTC in Sept cycle and got pregnant right away. I thought it would take longer due to age, which is why we started trying before the wedding. Little did we know…

    Won’t be in a financial and a settled life-position to TTC until I’m at least 29 🙁 (currently 24).

Both Darling Husband and I on cycle #2 of officially TTC, both 29. This would be our first. NTNP since about July. Went off the pill March 1st this year and sadly have had really long/irregular cycles since.

I don’t think you have anything to worry about, but if you want some reassurance you could always make an appt with your doctor to get the “green light” and make sure all your ducks are in a row before you get going. Congrats on the upcoming nuptials!
