@elchalten:Hello!  I am also very new to this but do have quite a bit of information in this department!  My Darling Husband is a TCM doctor and has his own clinic.  He treats A LOT of women with this kind of stuff and although he won’t treat me (because I don’t listen to him!), I do see a TCM doctor who specializes in fertility and I am taking herbs and getting treatments weekly.  We’ve just started ttc (well, not trying not to get preggers) but when i went off the pill i went a year without getting my period and i now get it every month and we think that I started ovulating also.  I don’t know what it would have been like if i didn’t do the herbs and acu but at least I know something is working!

I just had my second accupuncture treatment last night. Just like you, I’ve read positive stories about accupuncture and fertility and figure it is worth a shot. I’m starting IVF soon and it is supposed to help the conception rate. Figure it can’t hurt! The accupuncturist told me last week at my 1st appt. that she has a whole host of IVF ladies coming to see her. Even without IVF, it is supposed to help other fertility-related issues. Plus, it reduces stress which also can help when ttc. Although I can’t say it has helped me (I’ll let you know in a few months if I’m pregnant!), I recommend trying it! 🙂

@Danielle81: Too funny how you say your Darling Husband won’t treat you because you won’t listen to him. haha  I’m glad you’ve found it beneficial!!

I am not trying to conceive but am taking herbs and getting acupuncture by someone who specializes in womens health/infertility after I was diagnosed last year. I’ve noticed a big difference for me so hopefully all will be well when I want to start TTC. I did recommend my acupuncturist to a girl a work who was having a hard time getting pregnant and within 6 months of seeing her she found out she was expecting! AND it just feels great getting it, you feel like your doing something positive for your body and that helps with your over all well being.

Just an update for you guys.  For anyone who didn’t see my newest post, TCM WORKS!!!  I am currently about 6 weeks pregnant after NTNT for only 1 month.  Keep doing your acupuncture and herbs and keep staying positive!!
