Yep! In the same boat except my cycles are regular. We’ve been trying since February with one chemical pregnancy to show for it. This is cycle 8. It just sucks!

I don’t have any words of encouragement, just know you’re not alone and I understand how frustrating it is. I’m 26 and hubby is 33.

Have you had hormones tested or husbands sperm tested? I have low progesterone and we’re getting a SA soon.

Yeah it was hard but it’s okay. Having regular cycles definitely helps and I’m sorry you’re having such a tough time!

I let my doc know I had a chemical and that low progesterone runs in my family and she ordered the test. You could ask your ob for the test or see if you can get a referral to a specialist. It doesn’t hurt to ask.

Have you had chemicals? Obs will usually order tests after three chemicals.

I’m in the same boat, except I’m 37, my husband is 39 and my cycles are regular. We just got all of the preliminary testing done and everything looks OK, so we are back to waiting and trying…and waiting and trying. One of my really good friends just told me today she is pregnant. I’m very happy for them, but also a bit jealous! She said they were just “not stopping it from happening.” That sounds so nice!

Aww hang in there Bee, I’m kind of in the same boat. I’m 30 & Darling Husband is 32. Had a missed miscarriage on the 8th week in Feb. Got my period back in April but it has been irregular ever since. 1 friend found out she was pregnant at 14 weeks and she didn’t even plan or wanted to have a baby. She just delievered recently which would have been about the same time as my baby’s due date if I didn’t miscarry, so yeah I couldn’t help but think that it could have been me too! ๐Ÿ™

3 other friends also got pregnant, and one of them said to me last week “haven’t you been trying again ever since your miscarriage?”. Right, if only getting pregnant was THAT easy! (She got pregnant the 1st month of trying).

mickey29 :  Ah, your cycles are really irregular, that must be so stressful. 50 days! Did you have regular periods before you went on the implant? If so, I’m sure it will just take time. They don’t give the implant to women in their mid/late 30s if they want to have kids soon, so you have to think there’s a reason why- those women (like I was) need to be able to take their last pill and hit the road runnning with no delays. In early 20s, a doctor would not think you had reason to worry if it took a while.

I’m on cycle 4 and my cycles have been 28-35 days which feels unpredictable enough to me. It’s hard as I can’t tell at all when I’m ovulating. I’m even getting EWCM around mid cycle, then again 8-10 days later- it doesn’t help! I tried OPKs but I just spent all day getting dehydrated waiting to test, then never got a positive, so all I achieved was throwing money away and getting stressed! Have you had EWCM at any time in your cycles?

Good luck!

Very similar boat over here – We’re 32/41 and have been trying since March after coming off years of BCP, my cycles have been 41, 33, 47 and I’m currently on CD 43 with no end in sight. ย I used OPKs for the first time this cycle and have gotten two surges (CD 23ish and CD 36ish) with no true postives. Various bouts of EWCM mixed in there with non-sensicle timing. ย I just gave up with the OPKs a couple days ago after going through 50 sticks (!) in one cycle, I’m pretty sure I’m not ovulating. ย On top of that, midway through the last couple of cycles I start feeling like absolute crap (I was convinced I was pregnant a couple months ago from symptom spoting). ย I think it might be the surging hormones that keep failing to make me ovulate, but I don’t even know if that’s a thing?!

I’m going to call the doctor whenever AF finally shows this time to see if they’ll do some preliminary testing. ย I was totally game for it taking awhile (and I’m aware 6 months is not long at all), but the stress of trying when you don’t think your body is even giving you a chance is ridiculous!

mickey29 :  thanks! I wish you the best too. This forum helps a lot.

ive never used the fancy digital opks, just the cheap ones that buy on Amazon. They are like $11 for 30 and come with 10 pregnancy tests. I don’t this it’s likely you would get a false positive on the digital, but that doesn’t guarantee that you’re ovulating. I’ve been temping for the past 2 months and as annoying as it is, it makes me feel better to get some confirmation of ovulation. And my hormone tests came back looking good, too. Fingers crossed for you! I managed to squeeze one more night of lovin in last night and now the dreaded two week wait begins!!
