jz0909 :  I’m glad I’m not alone. Sorry your last doctor was so mean about it πŸ™ I hope you find one who is more understanding. I was so grateful that this doctor was very nice about the whole thing. She offered to have someone else come in to hold my hand, to reschedule, anything I wanted to try to feel better. She ended up having a nurse come in to hand her things so it would go very quickly. We also talked after she was done about some ways I can relax for future appointments and, in her words, “and once you’re in labor there are plenty of things we can do so you won’t feel any pain! Don’t worry, my dear.”

She did tell me that when we’re TTC I should “not do anything I wouldn’t do while pregnant” between my O date and my next period. I know there are two schools of thought with this. I am not a huge drinker or anything but I am a little worried about exercise. I LOVE my hot yoga and HIIT workouts (complete with lots of jumping) and was hoping not to stop until I had a positive pregnancy test.

What is everyone else doing? What have your doctors told you?

NMom17 :  Ahhh good to hear. I hope they get easier for me too. The doctor was a super nice lady so maybe knowing what I’m dealing with in the future will make it better.

Just popping in to say that I’m officially on CD1 of Cycle 1 of TTC!!

My niece was also born last night, so that in combination of it being CD1 of cycle 1 for us, I’m just feeling so much love and excitement to start trying to build our little family. I was so scared, nervous and overwhelmed with fear a month ago, and now that it’s approaching, I just feel at peace, full of love and ready to get this show on the road! πŸ˜€

NMom17 :  They named her Sofia! πŸ™‚ She’s so perfect! They live about 2.5 hours away, so I can’t wait until we can go meet her!

I also have my fingers crossed for a first-try baby, but we’ll see of course πŸ™‚ I’m going to stay realistic and just enjoy the ride! I should O around October 13, so we’ll start BDing around the 9th/10th, I think πŸ˜€ Right in time for dh’s bday πŸ˜€

NMom17 :  Oh gosh that’s such a cute idea!! Yeah I’d love to get pregnant soon so that they could be close in age πŸ˜€ I’m an only child and also have no cousins close to my age, and it’s something I wish I always had. I’d love that for my kiddos πŸ™‚

I’ll definitely be checking here on Oct 7th for any news from you!

NMom17 :  Oh that would be so exciting! It would be so nice to have another baby to hang out with πŸ˜€ Living close to each other must be so nice, too!

AF just made her appearance this morning, exactly one month since I stopped taking birth control. I’m so excited that everything seems to be back to normal working order so quickly! Now it feels like we can actually start trying for real. We were just NTNP all this month since I had no earthly idea when I might ovulate and get my cycle back.

it’s official, I’m out and AF has arrived. CD 1 of cycle 2 TTC. We’ll be making a few changes this month… going to use OPK’s more, and am looking into pre seed. I O’d a few days early last month, so hoping to monitor more closely and hope we can get a few more BD sessions in!

Fingers crossed for lots of October BFP’s!

Hope it’s not too late to jump in on the thread! Darling Husband and I decided over the weekend that we’re ready to start TTC for #2 and I just made an appt to have my IUD removed so I’m itching to talk about it and Weddingbeen was soooooo wonderful when TTC/pregnant with DS. I’ll try catch up reading through the thread soon!

ROLL CALL!

TTC Start Month : November (getting IUD removed Oct. 25)

Usual Cycle Length: 28 days

Cycles trying:

Baby #: 2 (DS is almost 17 mo)

Age/SO Age: 32/31

BFP Plan: See what happens. I’ve been on prenatals since about June. I used the Glow app last time around to track my cycle, so will probably do that again.

Fears: Not being able to get pregnant again, surviving the newborn phase again, struggling with breastfeeding again, not being prepared to handle more than one, not being able to find a name I love as much as our son’s, having to move for DH’s job while pregnant (or with a newborn) again. Basically everything!

Excited for: Completing our family, seeing my son become a big brother—he just started saying “baby” and loves a board book from the library with pictures of babies in it. ❀️

Team Green?: Nope, couldn’t do it. We will probably find out at the 20 week US like last time.

hemiandhighheels :   Don’t worry too much about the stress of it! Once you do get a BFP the OB doesn’t go inside of you very often lol! My doctor did an internal exam at my first appointment and a TV ultrasound then they didn’t go in again until my 36 week appointment. I also agree with  NMom17 :  that when you’re in labor you don’t really care who it is. I also didn’t have my OB deliver – it was a hospitalist who luckily I met before when I was in for a NST.

hopfenn :  Congratulations Auntie! I hope you get in some newborn snuggles soon!

mrsmcpavel :  Welcome! More STM’s! I also can’t wait to see my son as a big brother!

It’s October which means I officially stop taking BCP next month. Eeeeek. I need to start taking prenatals again!
