hemiandhighheels :  I’ve had conversations like that with one of my girlfriends too. In the past she said she wanted multiple children, but I’ve also heard her say almost that exact line – I just feel like your whole life changes too much and I’m not sure I’m ready for that! She has also said she doesn’t want to quit drinking when I mentioned I would need to soon. Just don’t let it get to you! Be grateful people who don’t want children don’t have them, and those of us that do are more than happy to change our bodies and lives.

jackjackattck :  Yeah I was a little taken aback because she has in the past mentioned really hoping to find someone to settle down with and have some kids! She has recently gotten more into going out and partying (with mostly younger people) so this may be a reflection of her new lifestyle.

I’ll admit, I am really scared of the physical part of giving birth. I hate hospitals. I am terrified my body will be messed up. But….I know plenty of women who have had babies who say “yeah, it’s painful and it sucks but it’s just one day and it’s so worth it” so I know I can handle it.

hemiandhighheels :  I think sometimes people don’t think before they speak. A friend of mine had recently found out she was pregnant and literally all she could talk about was how she hoped her body didn’t change too much and how she planned to get back to her pre-pregnancy size. It definitely made me feel sad and a little annoyed because I wasn’t ready to start TTC but I wish I was !

NMom17 :  I ended up purchasing the yearly membership for OvuSense. There was a 25% off code so I ended up paying just the same or even a little less than Ava. I figured if I am still using it after my subscription is up, I will likely be trying other methods or getting some assistance othe than temping.

NMom17 :  Nathan is my boy name! I love how strong and classic it sounds.

Not quite sure for a girl but I like Leah.  🙂

NMom17 :  Love your name choices! I really like Maya and Harrison. Names are one of the big reasons I want to know the baby’s sex early. Darling Husband and I occasionally discuss names but its so hard to take it seriously before its real.

I have a running list on my phone of girl and boy names. I find it harder to find a boys name that I like. Loving your options though! I think we will straight chopping down the list and getting more serious when we actually get that BFP!

For some reason, I love the name Mia so it’s number one on my list lol

NMom17 :  we’ve had an exact males name ever since DH’s dad died. We will be taking a variation of his name. Then the middle name is just my husband’s name with ‘son’ on the end of it. Except in Russian. It’s traditional in naming for Russians.

For the girls name we have been back and forth a lot but have a name picked so far it would be Evelyn. But it’s entirely not set in stone at all. Whereas our sons name is there whenever he is born.

We like Ophelia or Sophie for a girl. I do wonder if it’s a bit too posh for us, so I’m leaning towards Sophie at the moment. We can’t decide on a boy’s name, but that’s ok for now.

We got married on Friday! Just back from having a few days away. Can’t believe how close it is to TTC for us. We can’t wait for a little one. I’ve started using Ovia and swapped my normal multivitamin for a conception support one. How is everyone else feeling about the next few months?

NMom17 :  Darling Husband and I knew our sons name for years before we even started TTC. For the next, we know a girls name (its a family name) and for a boy we have NO.IDEA. We’ll figure it out! I love names and love seeing other peoples styles of names!

unlikelybride :  Congrats on the wedding! How are you feeling about starting the TTC process? I am feeling impatient and anxious. I am not ready to try yet but at the same time November seems so far away! I know its going to go by quickly! I am also worried about having 2 under 2 but I know (hope?) it will be an exciting adventure.
