I give all bees that have been at this several or many cycles a world of credit because TTC is STRESSING me out!!!
I have and always have had a wacky period so I decided to finally take control after my most recent period which started 7/31. I started charting though I deserve a big fat ‘F’ for it…I don’t have the discipline, particularly on weekends, to make sure I take it at the same time e.v.e.r.y s.i.n.g.l.e d.a.y. I tend to always get it within an hour window and did miss one day entirely.
On Wednesday I started using Wondfo OPK’s always testing with my FMU. Yesterday morning I clearly clearly clearly had a positive OPK ( which was shocking since I typically have super loooooong cycles) so hubby and I spent the morning BD’ing instead of being productive. Once we were home again last night after all the days events I OPK’d again (without stocking up on my urine) and it was clearly still positive so hubby and I got to work again for good measure. This morning’s OPK was back to negative.
My temp was up yesterday from Friday and up today from yesterday (but again I haven’t temped at the same time shame shame).
I know another indicator of an ‘O’ is CM and that I have not had. So I’m just left to wonder did I really ‘O’ and was hubby and I’s work a success. The knowing you were in the window and not knowing if it worked and not knowing if something is happening in there is so frustrating. I’m already overwhelmed at the thought of this roller coaster month after month if I’m not KU this month. And for the shear fact that I’ve always had to work for everything I’ve ever wanted, I’d be in total shock for it to have happened this quickly, and this easily… .
Again bees…I give you all so much credit! The next two weeks or so are going to be a long time coming… .

Well, I’m on month 2 ttc and can totally relate. I chart but this month was a wonky cycle, so I’m not sure if it was enough to get me ku. Really hope so! Anyway, you are not alone in your stressing!

@b2b5412: +OPKs and rising temps sound positive – everyone’s CM is different, and I know mine varies from cycle to cycle, so don’t worry about that too much. one more high temp should confirm O.
Thanks for thinking of us who have been trying for a while – it’s not fun, so hoping you get lucky quickly 🙂
Worth getting more fussy about your temps though, for more reliable data, if you’re in it for the long haul – it doesn’t take long to get used to turning off the alarm, sticking the thermometer in until you hear a beep, then falling back asleep. I’ve only been temping for a couple of months and it’s habit now.

My temp was high again this morning so perhaps I in fact did O…just something else to add to the wondering of what is going on down there…

I know that TTC is an extremely stressful process. It took us 8 months to conceive our first…lost it, then another 5 for our second, lost it and finally, after a year and a half of first starting to TTC, we got pregnant with the baby I’m due to give birth with in 6 weeks.
Using the OPKs is a really good start, and the two week wait is absolute torture. Just try to focus on other things aside from TTC. I know it’s hard…trust me! But you’re going to drive yourself insane for the first few months if you overanalyze everything. I totally did it to myself. We were at the point where we were going to get tested for everything under the sun until I got pregnant the 3rd time. Just try to focus on yourself…keeping yourself healthy, and having lots of fun BDing with your DH!
