I have been TTC for 7 months. One of my Fallopian tubes is swollen, fluid filled and possibly blocked. I’ve has one MRI and doing a second comparative one next month. My sonohystogram was normal. I am not ovulating, have irregular periods, high prolactin and hypothyroidism.
My fertility clinic says if the MRI comes back showing no changes and the oncologist agrees, we can try Clomid but if that is unsuccessful we may have to look at surgical options. This likely means removing the whole tube and is a big surgery because of previous scarring.
This TTC thing has been quite challenging 🙁
Wondering if anyone has had similar tube issues, got pregnant, or had to have surgery?
Thank you for any insight and experiences!
