It looks like the Tucson board hasn’t had any attention in quite a while! Tell me I am not the only one on here! Any Tucson Brides out there?? If so, what have you done so far? When is your date? Have you found your dress???? Venue??
I am getting married in June, at Reflections at the Buttes! IT includes almost EVERYTHING, except photographer, baker, and florist. I have decided to not go with a florist at all, and we already found our photographer, so now I just need to find a baker!!
Also I just ordered my wedding dress TODAY!!!!! YAY!!!!

Tucson Bride here! Everyone from here is just popping out of the woodwork! I didn’t think there was anyone else but me.
We don’t have an exact date set yet because my Fiance is coming on a visa from Australia, so we have to wait and see as it gets closer. We are having a very small and intimate wedding, most likely at the U of A Extension Gardens, next October π I haven’t done much of anything but research yet, I’ve been too busy working on the paperwork
But seeing as we are only have 20 people or so, I’m not overly worried!

Awesome!!
I am using Sugar Song Cakes! She is awesome! http://www.sugarsongcakes.com/Sugar_Song_Cakes/Welcome.html
She had amazing flavors. Also Village Bakehouse over on Oracle is amazing too! We are going to do a small gluten free cake from Village Bakehouse. You can’t go wrong with either bakery and they had the highest ratings when I was researching. Yes, Saguaro is just like Reflections π Everything is going well, just a bit stressful. Stressful, but fun lol! My theme is romantic with a vintage feel. Not shabby chic vintage though. I have basically researched everything I wanted…drapery, lanterns etc.
LOL it seems like not many are from Tucson, but ask me any questions and share ideas π I’m halfway through everything. Now the smaller details need to get done and we are searching for the formal invitations.
I just finished designing the flower girl dress π

And Village bakehouse is on my list of places to call! Glad to hear good things about them! What is your color scheme? Mine is Light pink, white/ivory, and a light grey! @desiree.0615: We met online on a writing website. We’ve been together over 6 years π I’ve been to Australia twice and he was here last summer, when we got engaged π I just mailed the visa paperwork last week
It was over 100 pages long. It took FOREVER to compile. Ugh. I hope it doesn’t get hung up.

I’m a Tucson bride! We’re getting married in March, which is coming up terrifyingly fast, haha. We have all of our vendors booked except for cake and hair/makeup artist, which I need to get on after New Years…
Hope you all are enjoying this lovely snowy day!

Love your color scheme!! Mine is a subdued purple…more like a plum purple and grey. We aren’t doing much color and letting a small pop of color come out in the bridesmaids dresses, some of the flowers and decor π
I posted a couple of pictures of our centerpieces and the bridesmaid dress (it’s a little darker and richer in person)

Tucson brides, do any of you have suggestions for hair/makeup artists? I am looking at Glitz Girls, but it seems there are a lot of choices in our area! Does anyone have a recommendation? Also, do you ladies have any thoughts on airbrush vs regular makeup given our dry climate?

i just ordered my dress from lovely bridal shop in nyc. i’m still looking for accessories though, locally/on etsy.
our photos are by brushfire photography, i’m so so excited. we did our engagement photos and they were amazing! i can’t recommend them enough. seriously. brushfirephotography.com
still behind on finding our caterer, we’re having a vegan wedding, soooo, that’s been pretty difficult.
