    I had a full tulle ball gown, with a short veil (almost identical to the pic you posted) with the satin trim.

    Personally, I like the cathedral. It’s what I am doing and it looks so elegant

    Here’s mine (its a different veil). My dress has a chapel length train

    I had purchased a cathedral viel with blusher to go with my tulle ballgown, but I quickly regretted it because I felt like the blusher looked too bulky on my head. I love this idea of the blusher but I don’t care for it after the ceremony especially for pictures. I ended up purchasing another veil (ya I know) and its a single long tier cathedral veil no blusher and I love the way it looks alot better. Gives a much sleeker look with the puffy tulle dress, I feel like it balances it out it that makes sense 🙂

    Ooohh! Me, me me! I don’t have any pictures with me, but yes!

    I’m wearing an organza ballgown:

    and after SO much deliberation (seriously it’s been the hardest wedding decision for me), I’ve decided to wear a cathedral length veil with a blusher. A blusher has always been a non-negotiable for me, but I was waffling between a long veil and a fingertip length. The bridal consultants all told me to do fingertip length so it won’t visual shorten me/cut off my frame (I’m 5’3″ and with my big skirt need all the length I can get), but at the end of the day, I want to wear a long veil so that’s what I’m doing.

    I DIYed it – I used 108″ bridal illusion tulle, and my veil is 108″ long (just a few inches past my train). I tapered it to the comb so it’s still 108″ at the bottom (as wide as my dress, or close to it), but is 54″ at the comb (which is the standard width for a “sheer” veil). I did the same thing with my blusher, only it’s 29″ long and only 60″ wide at the bottom (I just did what looked best and cut, so that’s approximate).

    @asianbarbie:  I bought it from Joann’s fabric – $2.99/yard, plus I used a 40% coupon! All in, I think I spent $15 total.

    I’m going to my parents to try my dress on with my veil next week (my dress is stored there) so I’ll be sure to take pictures and post them.

    I had a cathedral veil with blusher. It was a custom drop veil though, no gather at the comb so it sat flat on my head. I don’t have a full photo but you can see it pulled back. I loved my cathedral veil and how it sort of blended with my tulle dress

    I’m a bit partial because I went with fingertip oval 1-layer on tulle ballgown. (Sorry I don’t know the right name is for my dress – princess cut, A-line, etc. so I might be wrongly assigning ballgown here – ok longer than I thot!) I was inspired by Kate Middleton.

    I have a tulle ballgown and am wearing a cathedral length veil 🙂 I feel more like a dramatic ball gown looks beautiful with a dramatic veil, but that’s just personal prefrence. I unfortunately I don’t have a pic but if they come in soon ill take a pic and post it.

    My ceremony gown is a tulle ball gdressed my veil is a “walking” length— longer than finger tip, not to the floor, and it’s two-tiered
