@cowoman: I’m starting to feel a lot better about my choice now…thanks 🙂 Tomorrow I’m going to try it on with a petticoat and take more pictures. My size hasn’t come in yet but I’ll try it with the sample dress that I’m wearing here.
@eilean: Thank you! In these pictures I have no petticoat on. Can’t wait to see what it will look like tomorrow when I do try it. Shoes…hmmm…I’m starting to think of simply wearing ivory heels with sparlkly shoes clips, or maybe a very light blue like the bracelet I’m going to wear.

@Old Hollywood: I think the dress together with the veil looks absolutely lovely and will be beautiful on the day with your hair/makeup etc done. Very nice.

@Old Hollywood: soft or vintage-style curls would look great with your outfit! Your tulle veil is beautiful and I think you’re right, a steaming is all that’s needed 🙂

I love it!! I am biased because it’s almost exactly the way I was dressed for my wedding, but I think it’s so elegant and a little modern! LOVE IT!!!

Once the dress has been atered and the veil has softened i think they will both be lovely! I had a ballerina length dress (i’m 5”1) and stuck to ivory shoes because i’ve heard that coloured shoes cut you off more…. but i added diy pearls and crystals to them since the heels especially would be visible throughout the ceremony to the guests. I wore a waist length veil in the end but ummed and ahhed over a birdcage for ages!

Sorry for the bump of the old thread…
Old Hollywood are you still around? I tried to PM you but not sure if it even went to you. PM me ok. I have a question about your dress. Or could you possibly post photos of how everything turned out with it?
