I hate the sizing issue too!  My husband’s ring is tungsten carbide but his did come with a lifetime guarantee in case something happens or he needs a new size.  I hate the thought of him not having his original ring but if it’s falling off of him, I’d rather him get a new size then lose the ring.

@JamieinMN: I guess maybe if we have the money if he ever can’t fit into his ring or it breaks we’ll just buy a new one.  I would really hate to part with the original because like you said, that’s the ring with all of the sentimental value in it.

Yeah honestly the sizing issue was big for us. And so was the fact that it can’t be cut off if in an accident, but cracked off, unless in ah ospital that has the newest tools, which many don’t. My fiance said it was also very heavy, and it looked really thick.

We got 10k gold for him.

Other than that, I found that rings in tungsten looked great, and had really unique designs.

Darling Husband liked the look of the tungsten carbide rings and we both liked the price tag. Neither of us are worried that the ring can’t be resized honestly.  If he were to gain or lose weight and his current one didn’t fit anymore, I honestly would not hesitate to get another and it wouldn’t bother me that it wasn’t the one from our wedding. I guess we’re not the sentimental type.

Just a heads up we got married last Saturday, and my husband already has signifigant scratches in his ring. We are going to talk to the jeweler but we are a little annoyed after hearing how strong it is.

@JamieinMN: I would assume it was high quality, it was where we get all our jewelry and they have been really good to us. It is more because there is a shading in the middle of the ring, not really sure how to describe it, but thats where it is scratching.

It sucks that it cant be resized, especially since my husband is a quarter size and they only sell them in half sizes.  We werent worried about weight gain or loss though cause of the price, in fact we were taking/joking about just buying up a few different sizes and back ups of his.. jsut in case.
