This is my husband’s ring-

It was $100 when we bought it but I guess they decreased the price. I absolutely recommend that Etsy store. They engraved the inside beautifully and the ring looks so cool! It’s been almost a year and he’s had literally no problems with it. No scratches, it’s comfortable, and they shipped super quickly.

So that said, I can’t imagine spending  $200 for one. Our experience with a cheaper one has been perfect. Plus DH tends to lose things and not take care of his stuff all that well, so I didn’t want to spend more than $100.

My husband’s tungsten ring is from amazon and it was so cheap I’m embarrassed to say lol!! He LOVES it and it’s gorgeous and always shiny! He says it’s very light and comfortable to wear. I had gotten him a $300 one previously but it cost $50 to “size” it which meant they just swapped it out for another one since tungsten can’t be sized. I found the one on amazon and he loves it even more. It’s also even cheaper to replace if he ever needs a different size. I say go for it.

heres his ring

We got my ex-husband’s band on Amazon for a steal of $22. The quality was the exact same as any ring I saw in store and he loved it. Bonus? If it was ever lost or broken, you just get another.

I orderd ny FI’s from an etsy seller – it came out to ~$240 but it was kind of a specific design that we couldn’t find anywhere else, so we couldn’t be too picky with the price.  It’s awesome quality though!

Just be sure you get sized in a store if you decide to buy online because tungsten can’t be resized!

I absolutely love tungsten but keep in mind that if he works doing hard labour and something happens while he’s wearing the ring they can’t cut it off. This was mentioned to me by a jeweller and I think because FI is in construction we might be going with something he can cut off if something happens.

My husband’s original tungsten band was from Kay at $300ish with the protection plan. He thought he lost it and refused to pay that much again so we got one of similar quality but different color at Walmart for $25. Really wish we had gone there first.

My husband’s ring is from Amazon as well. The one I ordered ranged from $17 to $22 depending on size. He absolutely loved it. We even ordered a second one just in case. I really don’t think you can go wrong with an inexpensive tungsten ring from an online retailer, especially with Amazon prime’s return policy. As long as your SO doesn’t mind, of course 🙂

My FI has a tungsten ring and he likes the looks of it and the durability. He’s a mechanic and would never wear his ring to work anyway (just too many things that could go wrong) but when he does wear it he is happy with it..

My fiance got his tungsten ring off eBay for $25. It took forever, like months, to come but when it did it looked just like the picture.

My husband’s ring was around $15 from Amazon… lol We think it’s beautiful, and it’s a bonus that it’s so cheap – He has lost two of them already! He’s really bad about losing things. I even have to enforce the rule that his wallet be chained to his pants at all times, because he’s lost his wallet a few times as well! This is probably not a big issue with most people, but for us it works. lol

Here’s his band: https://www.amazon.com/King-Will-Tungsten-Carbide-Size7-15/dp/B00IK8UMZC/ref=pd_lpo_197_bs_tr_t_2/134-9757359-0464944?_encoding=UTF8&refRID=97H0XNNQNBVWEDN5XR64 This is his “everyday” color, and he has one in silver and yellow gold for more formal occasions.
