I now wonder if DH’s ring would have been cheaper online! (Probably should buy him an extra anyway lol!)

I never pay full price for anything….. I like nice stuff but I am somewhat frugal…

This applies to titanium bands too! I found my husbands titanium and 14kt gold overlay band online for almost half the price of the SAME one in two chain jewelry stores, and a private jeweler. We got my husband sized locally and then I ordered online, engraved and all, and the band is BEAUTIFUL! He loves it, I’m happy!

@Ninteenthchance:  Ah yes. (I see I’m not the only one who did this.) Same for titanium!! We bought my Fiance a titanium band for $10! He was very pleased with it. The ring is really nice.

@Ninteenthchance:  my fiance got 2 tungsten rings off amazon – (one black and one silver) and i got a black one too for times i don’t want to wear my diamonds (vaca, etc) we spent less like $60 total for all 3. We both feel kind of silly for each having 2 wedding bands…but at that price, who cares! lol

@Ninteenthchance:  I hate to tell you but this isn’t news. The markup on ALL jewelry bought at ALL jewelry stores is anywhere from 400-3000%. Tungsten isn’t just the lucky metal. You’ll find the same thing with Tungsten, Gold, Silver, Chrome, Platinum or plastic.

@Ninteenthchance:

Umm another reason never to buy this is that if it ever gets stuck you have to CUT THE FINGER OFF! As in, you can’t cut the band off, the whole finger needs to come! Thats what the jewler told us..
