My husbands Tungsten ring still looks exactly like it did the day we bought it.  We got a fantastic deal on it too.  (like 40 dollars if I remember correctly.  Here is a picture of the ring he has

We looked at these but Fiance decided for working with his hands it is not the way to go. If for some reason he breaks his finger this ring can’t be cut off and it can’t be resized ever.

Personally I love the look of them.

My FH REALLY liked the look of the tungsten rings.. he’s a “manly man” and works with chemicals so we wanted something that would last. We went to our local jewler who sells tungsten and she told us about it and now we ARE NOT going to go that route.. they are gorgeous (ehh, manly) rings but if anything happens and FH were to break his finger, etc. the ring CANNOT be cut off. That kind of scared us.. if it can’t be cut off, what happens? It also cannot be resized b/c it can’t be cut, which we weren’t crazy about since everyone’s fingers get bigger as they age. I don’t think the “replacement wedding ring” has as much meaning as the original and would prefer to just make the original one bigger if need be. Just some things to think about 🙂

*Jeweler. If there’s one word I should know how to spell, that should be it 😉
