A famous poem in my native language goes “Age 35…Half the road is gone” . Ugh… So I’m feeling kinda weird this year. Stings a little more because new hubby’s only 28. But, after spending my whole life trying to look older, being mad at getting carded, trying to get more respect at work etc, now I’m finally starting to think ok, maybe looking younger is kinda good after all. So come’on girls, cheer me up, tell me at least I’m aging well and there’s lots more good to stuff come down the “other half of the road”.
(this is me thinking , “I’m turning 35, whaaaa??!”

Holy moly! I’m 23, and I HOPE I look as good as you when I’m 35. Haven’t you heard that 40 is the new 30? 🙂

Age is just a number. You are as old as you want to be (o:

You look gorgeous and your skin is flawless!! From someone else who looks super young for her age (and I’m only 22 so I haven’t received the benefits of it yet), I feel your pain. But it seems like looking young for your age has definitely paid off 😀

Have you heard of the sun screen song? I think some lyrics might be relevant for you
Not sure why the font is so big sorry! Enjoy your health, enjoy your youth (you are still young)
Enjoy the power and beauty of your youth. Oh, never mind. You will not understand the power and beauty of your youth until they’ve faded. But trust me, in 20 years, you’ll look back at photos of yourself and recall in a way you can’t grasp now how much possibility lay before you and how fabulous you really looked.
Don’t worry about the future. Or worry, but know that worrying is as effective as trying to solve an algebra equation by chewing bubble gum. The real troubles in your life are apt to be things that never crossed your worried mind, the kind that blindside you at 4 p.m. on some idle Tuesday.

Seriously! I agree with Boston Bee. I’m 23 as well and I would not have guessed you were 35. You should embrace it, cause you look amazing!
p.s. I just showed my Fiance your pic, and asked how old he thought you were. He guessed 24!!

You look Fabulous!!! BTW-I just turned 50, and luckily no one believes it! Lol. You still have a lot of wonderful time. I was dreading it, but I am actually enjoying being 50.
@Boston Bee: No-really 50 is the new 30!! 🙂 lol
I am still able to do some many things. I have the luxury of having my kids grown, now I get to enjoy their company as adults. (And hopefully at 35 you will get to enjoy your parents as adults, too). I am still young enough to enjoy contributing to society, in my prime, because I’m older and wiser (I hope!) I have more free time now that my kids are grown. I still love to learn new things and have the opportunity to learn-languages and piano. I have more alone time with my husband. And I love getting to be with my grandbabies!! But don’t blink-make every day count as best you can, because it totally seems like I was just 35 too!!!! 🙂

My guy said, “Our age?” (which is 25/27), and when I said 35, he said, and I quote, “Whaaa?”
You look gorgeous. I too hope I look that amazing when I’m your age!

I wish I looked that good now! (I’m 28.)
My Darling Husband turned 33 this week and was feeling a bit down about it too. I think it’s pretty normal, just need to focus on celebrating and remembering the good stuff (like the fact that apparently women have better sex in their 30s?) 🙂

Don’t worry, you’re still a young whippersnapper to me!
