Remove the pin. Get a hair comb or barrette, whichever you prefer, and hot glue the flower.

I’d use E6000 or wire to put on the clip, only because if your wedding day is hot (and, well, it’s August!), then the glue CAN melt and the flower can fall off. If you use wire or E6000 (it’s about $6 at Walmart or $12 at Michaels), then you have much more security.

$40 for a flower hair pin?  I have a pink one that cost $5 from a chinatown shop.  Try Claire’s or Target.  They’re in style now, so they’re not hard to find.

Here is my flower hair pin that I wore to a wedding.  The back has three attachment choices: a pin, elastic, or hair clip.

@WestieGirl:  It’s AMAZING. I used it for my pocketfolds on my cards, to securely have beads attached to my veil, to stick together magnet buttons, to finish handmade bouquets and more. Only caution: Use it in a really, really, REALLY well ventilated area. It stinks.
