I want to do very bold, bright, vibrant colors for flowers arrangements – I’m picturing hot pink, bright orange and lime green. I want to add turquoise as an accent color. My bridesmaids will are wearing “watermelon” from David’s Bridal (the closest thing they had to fuchsia) and was thinking they could have bouquets with these colors with turquoise wraps. Invitations printed with fuchsia ink and will wrap turquoise or orange ribbon around center of them (half will get turquoise, half will get orange). I was originally planning on doing turquoise table runners with bright colored arrangements as centerpieces…..but now I’m wondering if that would look too bold? or too much turquoise? too overbearing in the reception room? I’m having a hard time finding pics of weddings that have done something similiar….any thoughts? suggestions?

Sounds like you’ve got a pretty good handle on the colors and putting them together. I say go for it! The way I’m seeing it in my head I see fun, upbeat, JOY! =)

I had turqouise table runners, but my color scheme was different from yours. I just had white flowers and some candles.
However I loved my runners! Didn’t think they were too bold.
I would think the runner would make the flowers “pop” a little bit more.
What color would your tablecloth be?

your photos are amazing! The turquoise uplighting is stunning and is making me want colored uplighting too 🙂
turquoise table runners are so fun, and with a colorful floral arrangement, will be super festive. Looking forward to seeing the end result!
