what flowers have you ladies used for a turquoise colored wedding?!? its for an outdorr wedding. I was thinking blue orchids but my mom says they take to much away from my dress. I really love the way a blue orchid looks but tried on my dress last night with a bouquet of them and kinda can see her point. Help!
heres my dress..its ivory color or off white

I love your dress! My bridesmaids have “turquoise” dresses, it’s very similar to Tiffany Blue and I’m actually doing fuchsia for their flowers and baby pink for mine. I felt it was a very feminine color that just really complements the dresses.

I just saw pics of a wedding in another wedding community on livejournal where the dresses were a beautiful deep teal color and the flowers were coral. It was very beachy and there was a lot of light and white and open space in their venue so that it was not outdoors but still with all the views of the beach. The flowers were striking, but it really made an impression with that color combo!

sit1010: thank you! I love it and get excited everytime i put it on! the pink would look very pretty and feminine. My bridesmaids dresses are a malibu so darker than the tiffany blue but pink could definately be used. Thanks!

I would use whites, oranges or pinks.
Blue orchids are pretty, but they do attract a lot of attention and are quite expensive.
My girls are in aqua/tiffany blue and will carry white hydrangeas with orange gerbera daisies as my colors were orange and Tiffany Blue 🙂

I love your dress, and I was going to recommendblue orchids as well. I think they are beutiful, and they would never take away from the bride.
What other color are you using on your wedding?? you might want to be very subtle with the blue-ish flowers and then add a pop with your second color??

I think I would go with red, orange and pink flowers. These colors being the oposite colors of turqouise, wil only help the turqouise stand out more.

I’m having a tiffany blue and red wedding. My BMs are wearing tiffany blue and their flowers are red.

I would do mostly whites. If you want some colour, I think the suggestions of pink, orange, or red are good to make the colour pop!

My bridesmaids have very pale aqua dresses and we are doing yellow bouquets. I love these colors together.
