I’m reppin’ the NE too!

Our tux rentals were $168 for the groomsmen/ushers, $120 for the dads and $109 for the RB. FI’s was free. We rented our tuxes through a local shop but Fiance has rented from MW in the past. I believe we paid $140 for the rental from MW but it was for just a standard black tux. Most places will give the groom his tux for free as long as they have 4-5 other groomsmen/dads renting as well.

We’re sending the fellas to a rental shop just outside Boston, where Dad got a tux for some formal event recently and they treated him really well.  Tuxes are between 100 and 120, and include all the fixings (shoes, ties, vests, etc.).

I think the Groomsmen tuxes from Men’s Warehouse are $150 and the ones for our dads are $125.  If he only has 3 or 4 GMs, you might me able to get the free rental if you have male relatives rent tuxes as well.  We will have 6 GMs and 2 dads rented tuxes, so my fiance’s will be free! (you could also choose to pay for the rental and get a new suit for free)

Ours were $160 from men’s warehouse, calvin klien shadow stripe

My Fiance was in a wedding recently and they had cheaper rentals and the shoes fell apart and the wedding as a short one, like a 15 min ceremony (the shoes didn’t make it past then) and the reception about an hour and a half. So you get what you pay for.

Our Men’s Wearhouse tuxes will be about $140. But after all the groomsmen, my dad, and my brother “check in” at their respective MW’s (all over the country), Fiance will technically get his tux for free. So we were going to spread the discount over all the tuxes, give each groomsmen a bit of a discount.

The fact that our men are all in different states is the only reason we went with MW. It’s a national chain and the easiest for everyone to access. If I thought my FI’s friends were a little more reliable, I would have gone with a local shop (I like their options more) but that requires the boys to call in their measurements and I don’t trust them. =P
