hi tuliplove,

my fiance and groomsmen are getting their tuxes at brocklinds formal in capitol hill.  you can check out the website at http://brocklindsinc.homestead.com/.  they have a special – if you register by april 1, you get the jacket (except fubu and aboud collections), pants, shirt, neck or bow tie, and cummberband for $59.95.  you can exchange the cummberband for a vest for $10.  and if you have a party of 5 or more, then the groom gets his tux for free.

he ultimately chose brocklinds because of the price and the staff member we talked with seemed very friendly and knowledgeable.  furthermore, all of their tuxes are in stock, so if they are any problems in sizing, they can grab another item right at their store.  also, they can do some quick alterations if the changes are minor.  this service highly accommodates all of my fiance’s groomsmen who are from out-of-town, and it’s a 10 min walk from the downtown hotel they are staying at.

another place you can check out is the tux shop.  my cousin’s husband got his tux there, and they liked their service.  i think they offer a similar package as brocklinds at a similar price.  they seem to have more style selections than brocklinds.  they have a local warehouse in tacoma, so if someone needs to get another size, they can give it to you the following day.

both of these places, in my opinion, are much better than men’s warehouse.  it was expensive, $160.  my fiance got a tux there for his friend’s wedding, and the fitting was okay…i think it could’ve used some tailoring in certain places, and it’s harder to get other sizes if needed.  i think the local stores offer much better deals and service.

let us know what you decide!

hope this helps 🙂  browneyes
