@MissEMich:  It (the price) depends on the suit you want them to buy. But if you find a suit for the same price as renting a tux I don’t think its unreasonable.

A $200 suit is not a high end suit by any means, but you are correct. They could spend the same amount of money  as a tux rental and have a suit to keep.

Watch Mens Wearhouse and Jos A Bank ( buy 1 and get 2 free) for great sales  and you will easily be able to bring down the price. Some bees here have used Studio Suits for custom suits.

For a summer wedding next year, the lightweight suits will be on sale soon. See if they have a signup on their website for notification of sales.

Jos A Banks is amazing for their suit deals. My Fiance has at least 6 of them because he wears one every day to work but I have nothing but good things to say about the company. Amazing quality and tailored perfectly. They are pricier than Mens Wharehouse, but i think worth it…especially if you get them at one of their amazing sales; which is hard not to because they have them all of the time.

Since Fiance wears a suit every day, he will be sporting a tux for the big day. But thats just personal preference; guys look adorable dressed up either way!

All our guys bought a suit. I didn’t want tuxes but it was also cheaper.  Jc Penney actually has pretty nice suit separate forr great prices which is where we picked fh’s and the guys out at. They may not be jos a bank but I trink they are nice looking! We paid 130 for vest jacket and pants during a sale last month. Even full price though thy are still very reasonable.
