neither above … my Future Mother-In-Law did :/   We had picked one we liked, and she said he would look like the “pauper” groom next to me.  So … we picked the SAME EXACT suit, but more expensive.  lol

I’m letting him pick. Since I get to pick the dress that makes me feel  beautiful , I’m letting him pick the tux that makes him feel  handsome.

I said he helped me pick, but his help was minimal.  I really tried to have him pick it lol but he really didn’t care.  We went to the store together but his opinion for everything they showed us was basically “I don’t care. What ever you want.”  The only time he really said anything was when they showed us one vest that was kind of flowery… he immediately said, “Not that one.”  That was basically the extent of his help. lol.  Oh, and he wanted square toed shoes but the store we picked doesn’t carry square toe anymore… his reaction to that: “Oh well. Whatever.”  We’re both pretty easy going and not too picky so it wasn’t difficult.

@LoriKay628: WE kind of had a general idea what we were looking for and Darling Husband went and picked his own…technically it was with his dad, but his dad wanted to him have tails and i put my foot down. Darling Husband made sure he didnt walk down the aisle in a suit with tails….seriously. I guess you could say i helped a bit bc the tux store was in the bridal salon and the lady helping Darling Husband would come over the me and lay the vest or shirt next to  my dress and say “what do you think”….it was a joint effort 🙂

Well originally I picked a style I thought would be most flattering. But when we got to the store, we ended up with a different style we both liked more. We also had help from the store owner, as to the style for the GMs, since FI’s tux is slightly different than theirs.

We picked them together, with some input from the groomsmen. I think there was one detail that my husband was interested in that I flat-out said no to, but I can’t recall what it was (might have been a sort of weird patterned tie). We knew we wanted something pretty standard so there wasn’t a lot of variation to consider, so this was very easy.

He picked them but I was in the store with him. I told him to just look around and see what he likes. I wanted to see it but I didn’t want to pick it.

My husband wore his own black suit and he picked his suit out. The groomsmen picked out their own black suits as well.

I originally told my Darling Husband to go take care of the tuxes with his Best Man.  But that never happened, so I hand held him through it all basically.  He knew the cut of tux he wanted and didn’t want, the vest/accent color was already decided by our wedding color and I picked the vest pattern because he wanted plain satin.  He did ok my choice though.  And we both knew we wanted regular ties over bow ties, so that was an easy choice.  I found that at big tux companies like Men’s Wearhouse, picking a tux is actually really easy.  You pick the cut, vest color and vest pattern.  Oh and they had 2 shirt options, but the salesman suggested one over the other so we went with it.
