Smart Ones seem to have the most flavor for the least calories. I used to eat Lean Cuisine but a lot of their sauces have no flavor and it reminds me of eating cardboard.

I can’t for the life of me remember the brand name… but it’s a glazed chicken with roasted potatos and broccoli. It’s really good, very low-cal, and pretty filling. If I eat a small salad with it, it’s the perfect lunch/dinner.

ETA: Oh it was Stouffer’s!

@helenberrycrunch: Yes. But that is all microwavable and non-microwavable pasta. I don’t discriminate.

I agree with the Smart Ones recommendation.  A lot of the Lean Cuisines have questionable chicken which really turns my stomach and makes me not want to eat them.

Have you tried making extra dinner and freezing portions of that? I have in my freezer some chicken enchiladas, morracan lentils and cabbage, chicken chorizo sausage with roasted onions and mushrooms.

But I almos always have boca burgers in the freezer to add o a salad of cabbage, lettuce, pickled jalepenos, cucumber, red onion and dress in a hot dressing of greek yogurt and salsa.. .there are so many variations! and soooo quick.

I love the Pumpkin Squash Ravioli and the Apple Cranberry Chicken with Wheat Berries from Lean Cuisine.  Strongly recommend both of them!  Every once in awhile I buy other varieties, and then I never like them as much as those two.

I really like AMy’s meals. Yes, they are more expensive but they are much tastier and sometimes healther. I eat Amy’s burritos as well as Amy’s light and lean pasta with veggies.

@PitBulLover: I like Amy’s too, especially their frozen pizzas.  When we were in law school, my husband and I always had a stash in the freezer.

Smart Ones (especially the 3-cheese ziti…omg so good!), Stouffer’s mac and cheese, any Lean Cuisine without chicken in it (why must most of them have such disgusting chicken?) and every so often I’ll have a Healthy Choice Cafe Steamer if they’re on sale. I will also eat Pastaria’s linguine carbonara or penne primavera occasionally, and Michelina’s rotini pomodoro.

Don’t judge me, lol. I pretty much only eat these things for lunch at work. Darling Husband and I actually do cook most of the time at home.
