Mr. Bruschetta loved Rome, too!

I’m waiting for my all-time fave show (Ed — the bowling alley lawyer guy) to hopefully SOME day be released on DVD!

Mama Bruschetta’s a Gilmore Girls addict, so she’s got all seven seasons on DVD.

I’m currently working on the West Wing!  I really like the show (for some reason I couldn’t get into it when it was actually on tv.

I also love the Gilmore Girls–I have all seven seasons as well.  My FH and I also have all 10 seasons of Friends, that show never gets old for us!

Okay, everyone simply must watch the following:

1. West Wing

2. Gilmore Girls

3. Friends

4. Sex and the City

5. The Wire (HBO)

Seriously – we own all of the seasons of all of those, and are constantly rewatching the best episodes!!  It still kills me that there are no more new Friends or West Wing episodes!

Gilmore Girls are a must. I watch them over and over again & still fall on the floor laughing. What a clever show!

Lost is actually really addictive too! Half the time I’m screaming "Whaaat?! NO WAY!" The show never ceases to shock me.

Friends- Classic must have!!

Friends and Gilmore Girls. And Sex and the City.

Another (which is still on air) is How I Met Your Mother. I’m surprised how many people haven’t gotten into it yet, especially when there are so many Friends fans. I actually bought the first season of HIMYM on DVD because I heard good things, I’m addicted now!

I love catching up on TV shows on DVD =)! We own a few sets, mostly good:

– Lost (only 2 seasons, but we’ll probably try to get the whole set eventually)
– Arrested Development (WATCH THIS)
– Friends
– Friday Night Lights (Season 1 is the most glorious season of television ever. Skip over Season 2 and get right to 3 if you get the chance, you won’t miss the stuff in between)
– Pushing Daisies (Love this show!)
– Roswell (my guilty pleasure =P)

As for other shows to watch on DVD, I heartily second The Wire, which when watched from start to finish is a vertiable masterpiece (season 1 challenges the way you watch tv in a fantastic way). Battlestar Galactica is excellent too and probably is more cohesive when watched consecutively on disc. And right now I’m rewatching Buffy via Netflix for fun =)…it was such a good show in its heyday. I also have Rome and HIMYM on the docket, I’ve heard good things about both shows!

Anddd this is why Fiance always makes fun of how much I love TV =P.

**Bruschetta** I’ve soooo been waiting for Ed to come out on dvd. My bro and i were talking about it the other day! I heard they’re not releasing it on dvd because of some sort of copyright issues with songs they used in it.

Sex and the City for sure, plus (and I know it doesn’t count because it’s still on air) The Office!  🙂

Oh Rome is so good!

I just picked up Jericho and the first two seasons of the Tudors

Lost is fantastic. and even if you may not be into Science Fiction i highly recomend the new Battlestar Galactica that just ended.  It’s more of a social/political drama that just happens to have spaceships.

Bees! What about Charmed? I would love to have the complete series on DVD, but it’s reruns on tv for me for now. LOVED that show! That and Stargate SG-1. My mom and I are fanatics. Oh, and I just thought of another great show that isn’t on the air anymore. The Pretender! Any of you bees watch any of those shows?
